Here is this month's shirt. It follows the Funko line of t-shirts which feature a Funko POP'd character.

The Force Awakens Lanyard - Value $5?

The small item this month is a lanyard. I wasn't too excited for this, but now I'm realizing it can probably be used for anyone with collector tickets or anything like that when going to the first screenings of The Force Awakens.

Star Wars Smugglers Bounty Subscription Box Review November 2015 - POPS

Captain Phasma POP (Chrome) - Value $25+ on Amazon

This chrome POP is AWESOME! The chrome is, in fact, the part that is exclusive to the Smugglers Bounty version. I'm late to the Star Wars Funko collection, and I'm now realizing just how many there are to collect!

Tie Fighter Pilot POP - Value $20+ on Amazon

This Jet Black Tie Fight POP is also exclusive to Smuggler Bounty. The difference from other Tie Fighter Pilot POPs is that this is the First Order Tie Fighter model, so it's a different costume/mask. I love how sleek it looks.

Verdict: I'm happy with the first shipment from Smugglers Bounty, because I'm really in it for the POPs, and they deliver here. The only thing I was disappointed with was the lanyard, but its such a small item that I'm ok with that being the disappointment. I'm really excited to see where this subscription goes - The next theme is 'The Resistance'! It also gets me excited for their eventual DC box!

What did you think of the first shipment from Smugglers Bounty?

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! might be safer and cheaper to go through eBay.

I didn’t get either of the special exclusives in the box. I got the boring stormtrooper shirt and the normal Tie pilot. I know these are supposed to be random but seeing the other shirts and the special Tie fighter pilot makes mine seem a little weak for the money.

I received the Kylo Ren shirt which was cool but Captain Phasma had several large, ugly scratches in the chrome plating on the helmet when I opened the POP! box to get a better look at him. As someone else stated, this isn’t considered grounds for replacement even though it depletes the display and collectability value of the figure. Profit over customers service, as usual. As excited as I was to subscribe to this service, occurrences such as this will cause me to cancel if they continue.

Funko is NOT replacing damaged boxes and characters anymore! Make sure you are aware of this before ordering, as things have changed since Collector Corps. If you are a collector and like boxes that are properly cared for, don’t order from Funko! Check their policy, it basically says they can decide (not based on actual problems that arise) at “THEIR DISCRETION,” whether you POP’s are worthy of a replacement or box replacement. My phasma character was covered in gray painted fingerprints and splatter…and they told me it doesn’t warrant any defect. The crushed delivery box, and therefore character box, doesn’t warrant a box replacement (as they did with Collector Corps)! They are cutting costs at OUR expense! Order through many other online carriers who actually care the condition of the items you receive and YOUR being satisfied with the purchase…not Funko happy to just take your money.

Got the storm trooper shirt. This is one of my favorite t-shirts in a subscription box. I was thinking of using the lanyard as a stocking stuffer (or keeping it 😉 ) but my 4 year old saw me open the box and claimed his “necklace”. The Pops are awesome. I really like this box from items to presentation. Wow. Just… Wow.

I got the storm trooper shirt. I love this box. The lanyard will come in handy for the next Comic-Con I go to. Or I could be nice and give it to my nephew.

My husband got the Stormtrooper shirt. We had been looking forward to the Phasma one, so that was a little disappointing. We were also a bit bummed by the lanyard. We never have a need for these, but seem to get them as promotional giveaways all the time. The POPs were cool, though, so we’re still interested to see what will show up in the next box.
