Super Geek Box Subscription Box Review + Coupon October 2015 - Info

Each box is themed, this month's theme was 'Chaos'.

The card unfolds vertically to display information about all the items.

Super Geek Box Subscription Box Review + Coupon October 2015 - Shirt

Fractured Funny Bone T-Shirt - Value $10?

This month's exclusive shirt features a sad Joker. What's the Joker to do when his funny bone is fractured! I really like the material the shirt is made of, it's soft and thin material.

Super Geek Box Subscription Box Review + Coupon October 2015 - Chainsaw

Zombie Shredder 5000 - Value $5-10?

This is the first thing you see in the box - and I was really excited when I figured out what it was! This is timed perfectly for me, I just watched the first episode of Ash vs. The Evil Dead on Friday night, so I was definitely in the mood to receive this. The only bummer was that they had to fold it to get it in the small box, and mine still hasn't flattened out.

Here's a host with my hand in it - GROOVY!

Super Geek Box Subscription Box Review + Coupon October 2015 - Funko Plush

Nightmare Before Christmas Mopeez - Value $16.98 on Amazon

Subscribers received 1 of 3 possible Nightmare Before Christmas Mopeez by Funko. You could have received Zero, Oogie Boogie, or Jack Skellington - and we got Jack! If you read my reviews, you know I love Funko stuff, and this might be the first plush I've receive from them. I love it - this is more like the style of plush I expect from a geek box!

Super Geek Box Subscription Box Review + Coupon October 2015 - Cloak Packaged

Super Geek Box Subscription Box Review + Coupon October 2015 - Venom Cloak

Villainous Cloak of Chaos - Value $5?

The next exclusive item is this cloak of chaos. This is a pretty cool item, and could have been used nicely for Halloween (note: I did receive this in time to use for Halloween)! Venom is one of my favorite characters, so I was more excited for this than I might have been if it was just a stock zombie face or something.

Super Geek Box Subscription Box Review + Coupon October 2015 - Ghost and Pop Rocks

Pop Rocks - Value $1

Dead Pixels Air Freshener - Value $3-5?

The last items were Pop Rock and an Air Freshener. This is definitely one of the cooler air fresheners I've seen. It depicts the Ghost from Mario Brothers.

Super Geek Box Subscription Box Review + Coupon October 2015 - Ghost Reverse

And the opposite side has the Ghost trying to hide when you turn to face it!

Verdict: I enjoyed my first shipment from Super Geek Box. They promise $40+ of items, and my calculations bring it around $45+, so that's great. The look and feel of the website and the info cards really feel just like 1UP Box, so I wonder if this is the same company. I'm excited to see what's in the November box!

My 16 year old would have loved the t-shirt and the cloak of chaos.

Hey Eric. The reason why they look so similar is because one of the developers of 1up Box had a falling out and created Super Geek Box.

Just signed up for this one too!! Overload of beauty subs, canceled them all and loading up on the geek gamer box for my 10 year old son!! ( and me too).. Collector corps, smuggler bounty, loot crate, the super geek one and my personal Fanmail!! Would you recommend 1 up box or nerd block for a ten year old boy?

Eric

In general, 1UP seems focused towards a younger audience and is about $10 cheaper including shipping. Personally, I like Nerd Block much better, but it might be easiest to give 1UP a shot first at its lower price point.

Thank you for the info!! Can I switch theme every month if I sub to nerd block? Meaning going from classic to arcade, then horror or i have to sign for each of them individually?

BONNY

I get this box for my grandson. We love it. Are you sure you have the pricing right? The box is/ was 13.99 and I believe 5 or 6 shipping.

I love everything you got especially the tee, the zombie shredder , and the plush. I also have way too many sub boxes or else I would be buying this right now. Maybe I need to take another look at what I have and decide if I still need them lol.

Holy box envy! That chainsaw!!! “Gimme some sugar, baby!”. And you are right! That’s the kind of plush that should be in a geek box. I know I can’t be the only geek that collects plushes. I…love…this…box… Must…show…restraint… Too many subs… Look away Loba! Look away!
