Galaxy Shirt - Value $10?
This month's shirt is all about Star Wars, naturally. I, personally, am loving Yoda as a snowman. On thing to note, their shirts are always so soft! Definitely, the softest of any geek box if you're factoring in the comfort of the shirt.
Chewbacca Plush - Value $8-10?
Chewy, we're home! I couldn't find this exact one online (excluding eBay), so I pulled from a very similar plush. Everyone loves Chewy, so this is an instant win. I can guarantee the dog will be taking this into his arsenal of toys, which already includes a miniature Chewbacca.
Space Lanyard - Value $5?
They include a lanyard featuring Star Wars and Star Trek characters.
Inflatable Lightsaber - Value $3-5?
Fight the Dark Side of the Force with this inflatable lightsaber.
Captain Kirkby Print - Value $5?
They include this mini print of a Star Trek and Kirby mashup.
Rocket Raccoon Decal - Value $1?
December Pin
The final item is a Rocket Raccoon decal.
Verdict: This is an ok box from 1UP Box. While I like the two higher priced items, the shirt, and the toy, everything else is just stuff that feels thrown in to increase value and get to 6 items. That being said, I don't think I'm the target market for this geek box, it definitely feels much more directed to the very young crowd.
