Good To Know: They also just launched a Kids version! So if you want to get your kids into comics without worrying about getting bloody titles - it's perfect for you!
All comics are bagged and boarded, and then kept inside another plastic bag, which is bubble wrapped for shipping. So the packaging is great, and we have yet to have any bent or damaged comics.
They always included a letter details the issues included.
Dark Knight 3: The Master Race #1 - Value $5.99
If you love Batman, this one's for you. This is the beginning of the third installment into Frank Miller's Batman! Hurry up and read this one, because #2 comes out next week!
Harley's Little Black Book #1 - Value $4.99
Variant Value - $4.99
I've never been intrigued by Harley, so I probably won't read this one. It was a unique variant since it also came in a came plastic bag, going nicely with the whole 'black book' theme. But, the variant doesn't have any added value either.
Transformers More Than Meets The Eye #46 - Value $4.49
Variant Value - $50+
This is ridiculously cool. The variant value is so high because this is an original sketched cover for ComicBoxer, and I got lucky and had mine signed by Alex Milne! Alex does the interior pencils on this issue, and is a regular in the series. He took the time to give each subscriber a unique sketch! I felt I had to bold that to get your attention about how cool that is. The link variant is a similar variant, but a different signature. I'm not a big Transformers fan, but this really jumps out as the highlight, and most unique comic, in the box. I don't even want to open it, it's so cool! Easily one of the coolest things I've ever received in a box!
Wrath of the Eternal Warrior #1 - Value $3.99
Here's a new title for me. Just from the cover alone, it looks awesome. This is all about the Eternal Warrior, who razed empires, toppled civilizations, and shaped history. Definitely going to open this up tonight.
Huck #1 – Value $3.50
We have also received this in this month's Blindbox Comics. I have yet to read this, but I am definitely still intrigued. Looks like I'll be closing out this weekend with a couple of comics!
Verdict: Comic boxes are getting better and better, and ComicBoxer follows suit. The original sketch cover is worth way more than the box cost by itself! That is really awesome, and this is where comic subscriptions are getting better and better - the unique covers they're delivering. I'm excited to dive into some of these unknown comics!
