Something Like Love by Sara Richardson - Value $5
Summary from Amazon:
Ben Noble needs to do some damage control. Fast. His heart has always been in ranching, but there's no escaping the spotlight on his high-powered political family. Now the only thing that can restore his reputation is a getaway to the fresh air of Aspen, Colorado. Not to mention that the trip gives Ben a second chance to impress a certain gorgeous mountain guide. But Paige Harper is nothing like the shy girl he remembers . . . she's so much more.
Paige is serious about Ben, too: seriously annoyed that the playboy cowboy is using hermountain for his PR. Once upon a time, she fell for Ben's aw-shucks charm, but the fairy tale didn't end happily. Paige doesn't intend to let down her guard again. But keeping their relationship all business and no pleasure may be harder than she thinks-especially if the moonlight, the Rockies, and a certain irresistible rancher have anything to say about it . . .
Denial by Lisa Renee Jones - Retail Value $16 (On Amazon $11.40)
Book Summary from Amazon:
The New York Times and USA TODAY bestselling author of the explosively sexy Inside Out and the Secret Life of Amy Bensen series will seduce you with this sultry tale of possession and ecstasy, wild fantasies and dangerous secrets—first in the racy and suspenseful Careless Whispers series.
Ella awakes alone in Italy, no longer sure of who she is. One thing is certain: a gorgeous man has claimed her as his own. He’s tall, dark, and sexy, the kind of rich, powerful man who makes a girl long to be possessed. And possess her he does, whispering wicked promises in her ear, indulging her deepest desires, stealing her trust—and her cautious heart. Soon, though, she discovers that nothing is as it seems. The truth will shatter her world, but it will also set her free…if it doesn’t destroy her first.
Murder Under the Mistletoe by Terri Reed - Value $6
Book Summary from Amazon:
DEA agent Tyler Griffin must stop a drug cartel that's using an Idaho Christmas tree farm to smuggle narcotics across the Canadian border. But to do his job, Tyler needs the cooperation of farm owner and widowed mother Heather Larson-Randall—whose informant brother died on Tyler's watch. Tyler knows a crucial piece of evidence is hidden somewhere on the property. But getting the protective mother to trust him is the hardest part of his mission. As threats against Heather mount, he vows to keep her and her child safe…and clear the farm of danger before Christmas.
And this box included 4 ebooks:
Always on my Mind by Nancy Naigle & Kelsey Browning - Value $3
The Business of Love by Anna James - Value $3.40
Teased to Death by Gina LaManna - Value $4
Joy to the Worlds by Maia Chance, G. Clemens, Raven Oak, & Janine A. Southard - Value $4
This box also comes with book swag each month:
Verdict: This box has a value of about $37 (using Amazon’s sale prices), and that’s without putting a value on the swag items. I think that’s a good value for a book box, and I appreciate that they include a variety of paperback and ebook options – not everything is for me each month, so I'm considering dropping this subscription. If you're into romance books though, I think the value is definitely there.
