Maker Monthly is a premium notebook and creative supplies subscription box.

This one is for the designer's designer, the liasons of light, line and ligature. This one is for the inventive, the imaginative, the inspired. This one is for the moonlight muse, the pixel poet, the prolific planner. This one is for the artisans of aesthetic and heroes of the handmade. Creatives, lovers of the craft, makers: This one's for you.

This is the first box I've received from them!

This box was sent to us for review purposes. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Maker Monthly Subscription Box Review November 2015 - card

The shipment came with a card detailing the products included in the box.

Maker Monthly Subscription Box Review November 2015 - pens

Mono Zero Precision Eraser - Value $4.66 on Amazon

Triplus Fineliner - Value ~$1.50 on Amazon

Razor Point Pen - Value $5.15 on Amazon

Each pen included writes beautifully, and I love the design and functionality of the eraser. I don't consider myself the target demographic for this box, but each item included feels like genuine quality - and they're all very useful to me.

Maker Monthly Subscription Box Review November 2015 - sharpener

Compact All-Metal Sharpener - Value ~$2 on Amazon

I based the value off of a pack of 30 on Amazon. I don't use pencils much, but it does go along with our last item...

Maker Monthly Subscription Box Review November 2015 - notebook

Slate Journal w/ 602 Pencil - Value $22.95 on Amazon

The final item is this beautiful notebook. It's a hardcover notebook, with a soft cover. It includes a pencil, with a holder on the spine of the notebook - it's very nice.

Here's the pencil off the spine, and a look into the notebook itself. It's a very nice notebook!

Verdict: I'm really loving my first shipment from Maker Monthly. The notebook alone is worth the cost of the box, so the value is very good here. While I'm not the exact demographic for the box, I think it's a great option for anyone who loves quality notebooks and supplies. Also, the presentation was great with this box, it was a very enjoyable unboxing!

Love the idea of this box. Not sure I will sign up, I don’t use notebooks that often but I know I’m going to try to swap for some if they come up on the swap site. Heck, maybe I’ll just join… haha
