If you aren’t familiar with Studio Calico, they offer Stationery ($22.99 a month with 6-month commitment), Planner ($22.99 a month with 6-month commitment), Scrapbook ($37.99 a month with 6-month commitment), and Project Life ($27.99 a month with 6-month commitment) monthly subscriptions.
They recently had a first-box-for-a-dollar offer (if you signed up for a 6-month subscription), so I decided to go for the Stationery kit!
My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).
I like that each kit comes within its own pouch!
The Subscription Box: Studio Calico Stationery Kit
The Cost: $24.99 a month (less with 6 or 12 month commitment)
The Products: Stationery cards, plus a few extras each month!
Ships to: Worldwide! (Free shipping to the US)

This box comes with an info card detailing the color theory inspiration for the month.
Calendar Notepad
As soon as I saw this in the box I knew it was going to be a good month - what a great surprise non-card item!
And it matches this card:
Thank You Script Card
Vellum Sealer Stickers
These stickers are super practical, and this confetti is not - but it is super fun! I think that's a good combo!
Just Keep Swimming Folded Card
4 To From Tags
On the inside of the card, it says, "Thinking of you."
Numbers Flat Card
Hip Hip Hooray Flat Card
This numbers card is listed as a birthday card, but it is blank on the backside, so I think it could work for other instances too.
Thank You Folded Card
Panda Folded Card
The thank you card is blank on the inside. And on the inside of the panda card, it says, "i kinda like you."
Winter General Theme Folded Card
Happy Holidays Folded Card
I was disappointed to see no holiday themed cards in the December Happy Mail box, so I am very happy to see these cards from Studio Calico!
That Stinks Folded Card
(This card is blank inside). Who knew a card with skunks on it could be so cute?
Verdict: I'm so impressed with this box! I love the non-card extras, and the cards cover a lot of uses too.
I can't help but compare this box to Happy Mail for my verdict. I think they both are a good value for the price (with the discount this box cost me about $19). If you're looking for more of a variety from card designers, I would recommend trying this subscription. (Or I'd recommend subscribing to both Studio Calico and Happy Mail if you are like me and love gettings lots of cards and paper goodies each month!)
