1UP Box Subscription Box Review + Coupon January 2016 - shirt

Pugs of Legend Shirt - Value $10?

This month's exclusive shirt features Pugs suited up and ready for battle. I'm not sure if this is in reference to anything? If it is, let me know in the comments!

1UP Box Subscription Box Review + Coupon January 2016 - Deadpool Dorbz

Deadpool Dorbz - Value $7.85 on Amazon

Yay for Funko in the box! I love getting anything Funko in boxes, my only disappoint is that I had just received this Dorbz in the December Super Geek Box!

1UP Box Subscription Box Review + Coupon January 2016 - Koozie and dog tag

Zero to Hero Can Cooler - Value $4-5?

This can cooler, made in the likeness of the Starbucks logo is another exclusive item this month. I won't need this for a while since it is FREEZING! I'll be sticking to warm drinks for a bit.

Super Mario Dog Tag - $4 on Amazon

This dog tag kit features a bit more than just a dog tag:

It includes the dog tag, I got Luigi, a trading card, and a decal sticker!

1UP Box Subscription Box Review + Coupon January 2016 - Valentines day card and patch

Game of Legend Patch - Value $1-2?

This patch features Link on an iron throne.

Valentines Day Card - Value $3-4?

They also get you ready for next month with a card for Valentines Day. I definitely chuckled when checking out the theme.

Verdict: This was a decent month for 1UP Box. I think I would have been more excited had I not just received the Deadpool Dorbz - so really, that's just a personal let down. In my opinion, this box seems to come down to liking the shirt and the one big item to make it a win or not.

OK so a bit of an explanation on the shirt:

Like other people said it references heroes for “League of Legends” but that not the only cool thing about it.

In LoL terms PUGs stands for “Pick up groups” essentially going to solo queue and getting random people to play with.
PUGs are usually really bad, as the communication isn’t as good as a pre-made groups , so they are somewhat notorious .

Hope that helps 😀

Great review Eric!

The shirt references the characters Riven, Blitzcrank, Ryze, Ashe, & Teemo from the PC MOBA League of Legends, which I think is the most played video game in the world…and my own favorite! I am officially jealous.

Nanners

“Pugs of Legend” = League of Legends, a MOBA game. Excuse me, I must now go find that shirt in swaps…
