Birchbox February 2016 Sample Selection Time!

So I am an ACE and with so much going on in my life I didn’t get a chance to pick in time and everything was sold out inc the curated box but then I saw on MSA that they were selling the same box for $15. So I emailed BB with my complaint about not being to selected the curated box as my Feb sample choice (even though its on sales) as well as everything being sold out. To my surprise and delight they emailed me back within a day and apologized as well as letting me know they would be shipping me out the curated date night box for FREE AND a regular Feb box (which will be a surprise on items). Soooo happy and I have ALWAYS had great luck emailing BB with any issues I may have and they have always made it right. Love BB!! cant wait for both boxes to arrive

Since Arrow is the new BB product, I’m sure everyone will be getting it in their box kinda like LoC 🙂

I logged in today to pick a sample for my non-Ace account and all the samples are sold out. WTF?? I didn’t know they could sell out of samples. So that sucks I wasn’t able to pick anything but wasn’t really excited about any samples.

Everything’s sold out! This happens to me every time. It’s so frustrating. Usually, I have better luck getting fun items in my box when I don’t make a selection and let everything be random, but I really wanted to try the color enhancing lip balm 🙁

I just went in to make my pick and EVERYTHING was sold out….no samples to choose….no curated box…..that kinda sucks! I hope I don’t get a box full of junk 🙁

So bummed I missed out on the lip balm 🙁
I got the whish cleansing oil.

Choice for my non-Ace sub is now available. It was not when I tried about an hour ago.

I chose the peel-off mask for both subs 🙂

I rarely pick a sample since I love the whole surprise element. I always check the next day to check what is not available to get some notion if what the beauty gurus are craving… However, this time I did take advange of my Ace priviledge and went with the lip balm

I won’t get to pick until tomorrow, but I’m going for the cleansing oil or one of the masks. I have a few unopened lip balms in my house already, and the curated box just didn’t appeal to me.

I’m an Ace but I haven’t received my sample choice email yet!?

How is the CR highlighter? Is it sparkly?

I went with the lip balm! Excited to try it out.

Also got the Hey Honey mask. I have an over-abundance of masks, but like the idea of a peel-off one.

I went for the lip balm, just because it’s a useful item that one of us is likely to use. I wouldn’t have minded the oil or the honey mask, but truth be told I’m still using the oil from Beauty Fix last spring and I’m well covered mask wise.

I was really turned off by the fact that the curated box has perfume in it. That’s so hit or miss and is probably either “meh” or a miss for a majority of subscribers. I also already got the Cynthia Rowley Illuminator in either a past box or a Mystery Sample Pack, so I don’t want that again, as I still have some left.

I have two subs and picked the peel-off mask for my Ace account. My other account is newer, so it’ll be a few months before I am an Ace. When I’m able to pick for my second sub, I am probably going to pick the same peel-off mask again. For some reason I have an overabundance of facial cleansers and rinse-off masks at the moment, and I’m not interested in the lip balm. Even though it sounds great, I never wear nude/nude-ish lips. If I did, I’d be all over it!

This is my first time making a choice, as I just signed up a couple weeks ago. With that said, it still gave me the option to choose today. I will say that I checked back like 40 times, and maybe they just gave in to me 😉

I just received the Arrow balm yesterday with my fit box, so I finally decided to just go with the curated box. I would love to try the blow out spray, and I like the idea of a nice date night using all the products. Still, I am so tempted to get another Arrow balm… I keep telling myself that one is plenty, and I can always use points to get another one down the road.

I can totally see why some people do two boxes, one for curated and one for samples. I am so tempted to do that too!

I am an ACE and never wait for the email anymore since they started letting you pick from the website. I am always able to just log in the morning of sample choice and just pick from there. I got the lip balm.

I love the balm it’s very moisturizing like a balm but has a slight hint of color. I love lippies but only love natural looking colors so it was perfect for me. I went with the face wash/oil since I already have the lippie.

I got the lip balm as I am to the gills on face products right now, I just went to my account earlier and clicked where it says upgrade next months box, seemed like the balm was gonna be popular and I didn’t want to miss out!

Got the lip balm – I’m excited! I usually go curated but this month’s box did not make my skirt fly up.

FYI to people who are new to early choice day – don’t freak if you can’t make your choice yet. In my experience nothing sells out on this early day. It’s the main day choosers who have to hustle.

Ooo! Gotta try the lip balm! It sounds like it does the same thing that Dior Addict Lip Glow does, and that stuff is awesome. I’d love to find an affordable alternative. You shouldn’t have to have a line in your budget for lip balm. o.0

I gave a friend’s email for referral and still can’t get in to select. No email yet, either.
