February's theme is "Hollywood Glamour"! This is the information card that was included, detailing the package contents.

Aria "Valiant" 18k Gold Plated Druzy Set

I love all things druzy! So sparkly! This is the necklace as it came in the box.

This gives you some idea of how long the necklace is. It's pretty short, meant for the pendant to hit just below the throat. In my experience, Cate & Chloe jewelry tends to be on the smaller side.

These are the gorgeous little matching studs that were included. Look at how they sparkle! I am really enjoying the dusty peach color, too.

Maybelline Lipstick

This is the bonus item for February. I didn't swatch it because there is no part of my body that's not cracking with dry skin right now, but I will tell you that it sparkles and goes on the exact same color as the jewelry. That takes matching a bit far for me, but I think it's a pretty lipstick color in any case.

Verdict: I think Cate & Chloe is a fun subscription, and the pieces they send tend to be really good quality for costume pieces. This month's selections are a little understated for my tastes, but they are very pretty and have lots of sparkle! Plus I will probably just add seven more pieces of jewelry anyway, so I guess that makes them good layering pieces!

I’m debating on getting cate and Chloe or Wantable accessories! Does anyone have an advice?! ?

darla

I just tried signing up, but it is telling me that the coupon code is inactive. Any insight or advice? TIA!

I’ve been tempted to try this subscription for a while but the exchange rate makes all the US subs so expensive for Canadians (this box does ship to Canada, FYI 🙂 )! I love these pieces and that coupon code though so I’m going to check it out.

A lot of similar, or even the same, pieces can be found on Ali Express for super cheap (some with free shipping). Granted everything is coming from China so it takes awhile to arrive.

These are gorgeous and I don’t even like gold! Signing up for this box is very tempting…

Helen

I signed up for the February box, my first from Cate & Chloe. I filled in the questionnaire regarding preferences, one of which is that I never wear gold. Will I receive the same as this box or a variation?

Hi Helen! I’m guessing that if you said you don’t want gold that they won’t send you any, but I’m not sure what they will send you instead. One thing I do know first hand about Cate & Chloe, though, is that if you are unhappy with what they sent you, you can email them and they will work it out with you until you are happy. I’d love to see what you get!

Sure enough, I got a gold necklace. It’s very pretty with an arrow that slides through a heart shape – but it’s gold!
Also, the lipstick they sent looks used and abused. There’s a half-ripped off sticker and the label’s peeling.
Not a great first impression.

Helen

Thanks, good to know. I’ll post here if I get anything different from the above.

Anna, should we send you some spare lotion?
