The Match Up is the hair care and styling subscription from eSalon. Every month you are sent 3 items from the categories of color-care and hair care products, styling and coloring tools, and brow products.
You choose your 3 items to be included in your match up and you can also add-on up to 2 extra items to your bundle at 25% off. Also good to note: it’s easy to skip a month.
I like how the products come in their own bag inside the box!

Get Heated Repair Thermal Protection Mist – 4 fl oz, value: $14
I liked this a lot! I’m big on heat protection for my hair. I used only this right after towel drying, and it seemed to even help with detangling as I combed, which I was really glad for.
Paddle Brush – value: $15
I don’t know about you but the brush I was currently using before getting this was one I had been using for, I don’t know, more than a few years. I’m happy with this brush – the red body feels grippy.
Devoted to Hue Color Enhancing Mask in Golden – value: $19
This mask is supposed to help revitalize your hair color, and comes in different colors. This golden is supposed to be good for blondes and brunettes, so I grabbed it to help between dyes. Honestly, I didn’t really see much of a difference, so I’m glad I didn’t pay full price for this.
Verdict: I’m happy with this month’s match-up, but one item just wasn’t a hit. I liked the other items though, so it works out okay. I’m already looking forward to picking my next box.
