ModCloth Stylish Surprise is Available Now!

My box came today and ohhhhhh myyyyyyy. It was bad. Really bad. I ordered two dresses and 1 pair of shoes. The dresses were the exact same, except one was peach, and the other was mint green. They were a stunning off the shoulder, solid lace, junior prom style of gown that in no way would look good on this 30-something-mom-with-a-couple-of-kids kinda gal :/ The shoes were multi-colored flats that for $10, I might give a whirl. I know that you take a chance with mystery boxes, but I can’t help but feel slightly ripped off…….

My SS box came today. All Summer items. 3 sandals, 3 summer dresses ( one with watermelons, one with ocean items, and a peach lace one), a summer tank top shirt, a ” sock hop” tight shirt. Peach flats, multi colored flats, and black Patten wedges. I’m assuming that there will be another sale soon.

I got mine Saturday, it shipped super fast. I got a pair of ugly librarian shoes, that I don’t even know if they’re worth trying to swap. And a striped dress which is kind of cute; but just like one I already bought from Modcloth. I was hoping for a cute pair of boots like last time lol.

Ummm… So I just received my surprise dress today… It certainly was a surprise… I got a bridesmaid dress?? Full on gown with sparkles. Ugh.

I was able to snag 4 shoes and 4 apparels on the day of the sale. I just got an email from modcloth that due to an oversale, I am not getting any shoes……boo =(. They did gave me a 10% coupon code and I used it on the big sale today. But i really wanted to see what shoes I could get!

The apparel item that I ordered for my sister is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. My order has not shipped yet. Am I the only one?

I did the apparel one last year and got a black Steve Madden coat. Too bad I had purchased a wool coat that was almost identical to it about two months before. I sold it for $20 at a consignment sale so I got my money back & someone got a nice deal.

I gave in and ordered two of the apparel surprises this time. Fingers crossed that I get something good.

I just purchased a dress in size M. It’s my first online “blind” purchase so while I’m excited, I’m also nervous. I just hope whatever I get fits! Though it’d be nice if I liked it too

I was a one-and-done on Stylish Surprise. I did it once and nothing I received fit or was remotely my style. Someone shopping Goodwill got very lucky, though! 😉

I purchased one pair of shoes. Last time I bought two pairs. Though the shoes weren’t what I normally would pick for myself but I like them.

Thank you for the Notification that popped in my inbox, I hopped right on and got 1 pair of shoes and one xl dress (though with the dress and the comments above I hope its not too small!). Fingers crossed that I like them….took less that 4 days to break my no frivolous spending in 2016! hahaha!

SOMEday I’m sure I will be online when this happens. ::sigh:: (I’m a plus size, and they always sell out first.)

Wow the shoes except for size 6 and 6.5 went fast! I got a dress in XL (their sizes sometimes run small) and 2 apparel in size L. I hope it fits because the sizes larger were already gone. I have been happy with what I have gotten in the past, although had some sizing issues with apparel and shoes, but for the price, its worth it because I was able to give them as gifts.

I got a couple of each! There are quite a few girls in the family, so if something doesn’t suit someone, it’s bound to work for another. haha 🙂

Took a chance on two pairs of shoes in an eight. This is my first time, so hoping they fit and I like them.

I was so happy to not miss out on this as I did last time. I was able to find a 2X and size 10 shoe… Hopefully I’ll love what they send me… If not I’ll list the goodies for swap.

I was in class when this went live and missed out on my sizes. But after last time, I am super glad I missed this. They had one thing I liked and a bunch of stuff that was just flushed money.

I’m so excited I finally caught this! I got 2 XS apparel, and 1 size 7.5 shoes. I love retro and mod clothing styles (think Zooey deschanel) so I’m really excited to see what I get. Some boots would be amazing ?

Ugh, I swear every single time they do this I’m stuck in a meeting and they are out of my shoe size by the time I can get in. Guess I’ll try again next time… 🙁

Oh thank goodness they finally sold out of my size shoes! I checked about 4 times and each time felt my resolve to not buy crumbling. I wish the best of luck to those who did take the leap.

I got two pairs of the shoes. I loved the shoes I received last time! I will not buy any of the dresses or apparel again. They looked terrible on me!

Ahh- someday I’ll finally get my size 10 shoes. Scored two L apparel – the dresses are really hit or miss for me so I abstained (tall people problems).

I purchased two of each category.

I got one of each… the last 2 surprises I’ve received have been horrible. I feel like I should learn from the past but I’m a sucker for surprises!
