Subscription Boxes for $10 Or Less

The subscription lifestyle isn’t necessarily expensive — in fact, many services can save you money over time. Some clothing subscription boxes offer discounts of 40% or more off of retail; many meal kits charge less for their ingredients than what you’d pay at the grocery store. You’re also saving time and avoiding stress. That’s not even addressing the other reasons to buy a subscription box: Each delivery provides an exciting break from your day-to-day, and you’ll find dozens of interesting products that you won’t be able to live without.

Okay, to be clear, we could write dozens of pages of reasons to try subscription boxes, but there’s a better way to make our case: For less than $10, you can try many of them yourself. We’ve assembled a list of the best services offering cheap subscription boxes, categorized to make your journey a little easier.

With all of that said, let’s dive in. If you have an Alexander Hamilton in your pocket, you can afford any of the boxes below.

1. Rocksbox

Rocksbox

Regular Cost: $21 per month

About the Box: Rocksbox is a monthly subscription box for jewelry rental. We love the simplicity: After completing a brief quiz, you’ll receive 3 pieces of hand-selected jewelry in your first box. Wear them as long as you like, and then return them in a prepaid shipping envelope to receive a new set. If you find something you love, you can purchase it from Rocksbox at a discounted rate

The service is inexpensive at $21 per month, and with the coupon code above, you’ll get your first month for free. Subscribers also receive a $21 monthly credit; you can use that credit towards any purchases (however, the credit does not rollover).

Check out our Rocksbox Reviews to learn more about this subscription!

2. Nadine West

Nadine West

Regular Cost: $9.78 shipping per box, which can be applied towards purchases; members only pay for the items they keep.

COUPON: Use referral code NADINE to waive shipping fees on your first box. That means you can get your first box totally risk-free.

About the Box: Nadine West is a subscription styling service for women sizes Small to 3X. Subscribers fill out a style quiz and receive an outfit every month (that’s 4-6 items including apparel, jewelry, and accessories). Keep what you want and return the rest.

This service’s items are priced lower than other styling services, ranging from $10 – $30 per piece. You’ll never receive a “cookie-cutter" package, as each box is personally curated; provide feedback on each box, and you’ll get better curation over time.

We love personal styling subscriptions, and Nadine West offers one of the least expensive options available. That doesn’t mean that their clothes are cheap — you’ll find a variety of high-quality products from well-known brands in each delivery. The company’s stylists go to great lengths to choose appropriate outfits for every subscriber, so if you’re looking for ways to refresh your style, this 10-dollar monthly subscription box is the best way to experiment.

Yep, I agree w that comment about Ipsy. You know how they supposedly have a policy where you can “freeze” your account when you don’t want to receive anything for months at a time..well I tried to do that during Covid-19 and they STILL withdrew the $ and sent me the monthly gift bag. I recently read a blog where this young women presented a powerful commentary on Ipsy and all of these companies in general and how they all need to be aware of environmental consumption esp when it’s in the name of beauty products and how these companies are decimating precious resources in order to mass produce all of this crap that’s ultimately not needed. At least, that was my interpretation of what she had written; I may have misconstrued it. But it’s true. There really is no need for all of this junk and Ipsy keeps creating more ways to lure in the customer. And the beauty profile to tailor to the customers preferences?! Gimme a break! They could not care less what a person chooses on that questionaire bc they send the same umpteenth black eyeliner or eyeshadow palette nonetheless (despite what one chooses and, yes, I know this from firsthand experience). Shame on you, Ipsy!

Reply ButtonReply

Adrienne Gray

Yes Ipsy is bad they charge me three times in one month and when I emailed them, they said oh you somehow have three accounts? How your policy is one account per card? I got three bags of crap I didn’t even sign up for on the beauty list. Then I stop my subscription and wen to pay my electric bill and was short $20 how? They charged me $20 for a $13 bag. Well I had to ask for refunds serveral times and they were great about giving my money back next day. But no more Ipsy for me. Why do the beauty questions and ask what brands you use and they don’t send nothing you said you liked. Shame on ipsy

I have subscribed to the Walmart Box for at least 2 years now and love it for many reasons:
Price!. Often contains full size samples, Price! The products are all available at Walmart so very accsessable, Price! I have been introduced to products that I now consider part of my necessary products. oh, and in case you missed it- PRICE!!!! There is no reason not to order this box! I truly don’t think I have any complaints. They always notify you before mailing. Really a great box, period.

Just cancelled Ipsy. I have 2 subscriptions. One for myself & daughter. They withdrew the $for the bags 3 days early. I’m guessing ppl r cancelling during the lockdown so they started striking before u could cancel. They overdrew my acct. They won’t reply to my emails. Crooked business dealings. I’m done. And I loved them.

Love scent box. This and dollar shave club are two of my fav “cheap” sub boxes

kacey

Geez, I remembered when all this small sample size used to be free. 🙁
Now I have to buy them, in order to see if I want to buy full size.

How companies comes up with this catching ideas to make you spend money like crazy is awful.

Reply ButtonReply

Marie

I was thinking something very similar. I remember when small and deluxe sized samples were free. The company wanted you to try their product, so they gave you a sample. Full stop, the end.
Now we have middle companies getting in the way of our free samples. It’s a win win situation for them, but not for the consumer.

Lootcrate filed bankruptcy just a few months ago. I’m one of MANY waiting on orders from months (I ordered my first crates in May) ago, others have been waiting far longer. So honestly. I would not include then in thur list till we see how their new financial backer does, and if they can start getting crates out with the proper and new items.

Reply ButtonReply

Sara

Yup…lootcrate did the same to me. I emailed almost daily until they complied and fulfil what I’d paid for. Unfortunately, my subscription was a build-a-figure and I am missing two parts. Very poor business practice.

I think you need to take this post down and redo it. Many of these boxes are no longer available or have raised their prices.

Bookcase.club is a SCAM!!.Beware! They ask for credit card and security code. I’m home with my physical card but after they used this link to phish they were using my debit card ordering food within an hour. I ordered off this affiliate from home. Within two hours Bank of America is contacting me regarding fraudulent activity. They took my debit card and made several online purchases before finally being declined. It says Kennesaw, GA on BofA but better business bureau says Knoxville. Suspiciously BofA says they don’t have a phone number either. I only looked at one section on the site – but if you look through you will see each page is just a dupe. I’ve used the affiliates on this blog for a couple of years! I cannot believe you didn’t vet this advertiser! Thanks for leading me into a scam that has forced me to stay up for two hours until after 1 am filing fraud claims. Take them off your blog immediately.

I’ve ordered from them a couple of times before and never had any problems.

Birchbox is no longer $10 each month.
A few months ago they raised their subscription prices to $15 monthly (or $13 per month for annual subscribers). This was my very first subscription box, but after 4 years I decided to cancel. About 3 years ago they significantly changed their point system, which was disappointing but something I could live with. However, with so many ways to discover new products today, it doesn’t make sense to pay more for a service that is essentially the same quality it has been for years. Birchbox is a great way to explore and try new and different beauty, hair, and skin care products. Unfortunately, I simply can’t afford it anymore. Thank you!

Globe In’s CHEAPEST box is $40 for the first month. Every month following for the cheapest is $50 a month, not $10. Very far off.

A lot of the luxe boxes have smaller and cheaper versions now, well..have for awhile. You should look thru them and get reacquainted with the boxes, something new is going on every day! I can look thru the boxes everyday, and lose hours looking…and ALWAYS find several things new to me.

Hi Victoria! The GlobeIn Premium Box is $40 but their Essential subscription is $10. Hope that helps!

The essentials ended in July, Ipsy is $12, Birchbox is $15. The loot boxes aren’t worth listing since people are still waiting for orders from last year.

This list feels outdated to me.

MissJ

But they ended the Essential sub that they had……. @MSA

I signed up for the introductory box for $4.95 Naturebox and was charged $24 for the first box. I had to email them and am waiting a response. I am not at all happy about this.

Pretty sure that 4.95 promo has been over for a long time. This list is extremely inaccurate.

When I click on the mini dog box, it shows that it is $12.99/month not $9.99. Why is that?!

Looks like they’ve increased their prices! Thanks for letting us know, we’ve removed them from this list!

Field to cup, as far as I could tell, doesn’t offer a box cheaper than $14.97 now… there is no offer for the $6.97 box when I followed the link from this page 😕

Thanks for letting us know! We’ve removed them from this list.

I tried the mightyfix deal but instead of receiving a box plus 2 sheets of bee’s wrap paper my box was just bee’s wrap paper. Of all the things I would have like to try this would have been the least.

I have gotten the MightyFix for about a year and have gotten some really neat stuff. I’ve received bamboo eating utensils, reusable sandwich bag, dish rags, dryer balls, and a whole lot more. You should really give it a chance.

GlobeIn Artesian charges $3 shipping after the first month. So, it’s more like $13 a month.

Just wanting to know if anyone has ordered the Jacked Pack and what their opinions are on it. Want to order it but I wanna know if its a good purchase. Opinions?

Yes a lot of great products just redundant. A lot of the same products over and over.

I ordered it, it came with a lot of supplements, pre-workout stuff, whey samples etc. It’s a great box if you are in a pretty hard core workout regimen and trying new things. I don’t think I will keep it because it’s a little over the top for where I am personally with my fitness. Bulu Box fits my needs better at this time.
