Super Geek Box Subscription Box Review January 2016 - card inside

Each box is themed, this month's theme was 'Versus'. The card unfolds vertically to display information about all the items.

Super Geek Box Subscription Box Review January 2016 - shirt

Sure You Can! T-Shirt - Value $10?

This month's exclusive t-shirt features Ryu from Street Fighter. With a new Street Fighter coming in February, this is perfectly timed to get you ready. You also have a chance to receive a limited edition print of this shirt, featuring Ryu in black gear.

Super Geek Box Subscription Box Review January 2016 - dorbz

Captain America Dorbz - Value $9.70

They include a Dorbz figure this month! It's the classic version of Captain America! I definitely prefer the classic suit than the new, movie-version, suits (not that I hate the new suits).

Here is Cap out of the box.

Super Geek Box Subscription Box Review January 2016 - mystery figure and tattoos

Batman/Superman temporary tattoos - Value $1-2?

These aren't on the card, but it goes well with the Versus theme. Sport your tattoos to Batman vs. Superman.

DC Comics Mini Buildable Figures - Value $10.99

I was surprised to see the value of this item! Of course, this is just a blind bag, but I included the price for the specific figure that I received. I was so excited to get Batman!

Super Geek Box Subscription Box Review January 2016 - batman mini fig

Here he is out of the bag. It also includes a mini stand with a clear plastic post so that Batman looks like he's flying in the air.

Super Geek Box Subscription Box Review January 2016 - poster and keychain

We Can Do It Poster - Value $4-5?

This mini-poster goes along with this month's shirt. Instead of Ryu, this poster features Ken.

Blue Shell Keychain - Value $4-5

This is another exclusive this month and features your second place prize in Mario Kart!

Monthly Theme Pin

Every month includes a pin that calls out the theme.

Verdict: I really liked this month's Super Geek Box! This is my fourth box, and they've been delivering some great boxes so far - it's very encouraging moving forward! I'll never complain if I get new vinyls to display, and this month I got 2, and a great shirt!

My Grandson’s box is on its way. I love seeing your reviews prior to him opening it. It helps me understand his enthusiasm! Lol…he’s going to love this month’s box!

While I love Street Fighter I think my favorite item in the box above is the Mario key chain! The Blue Shell with wings in Mario Cart is my favorite item to get as when you shoot it automatically hits whomever is in 1st! Very cool!

Wouldn’t the theme make more sense to have, in the same box, both Captain America and Iron Man or Batman and Superman? For instance, your box will have Captain America face off against Batman, and they’re not rivals.

Either way, for the price paid, this is a decent sub box.
