Each box comes with an info card and a Target coupon good for $3 off a beauty purchase of $15 or more. (Tip thanks to MSA readers - save these to use on future Target Beauty Boxes!)

target-refresh-box-simple

Simple Micellar Wipes - FULL SIZE! Value $7

I'm always happy to get makeup remover wipes in subscription boxes - they are one of those useful items I always go through quickly! These wipes are free of artificial dyes, fragrances, parabens, etc, and very gentle!

target-refresh-box-acure

ACURE Day Cream - 1 oz Value $9.70

(Good to know for swaps - foil seal inside cap).

This is more than half the size of the full-size version! (1.75 oz). Acure is one of my favorite brands - it is great to find an affordable natural beauty brand that works! (And if you have allergies or sensitivities, their product line is free of pretty much any ingredient you may want to avoid!). This cream is lightweight and has a light citrus scent - I think it is my favorite item in the box!

Marlowe Extra Moisturizing Lotion - 1 oz Value $.67

This brand is new to me and I like it! The lotion is paraben and phthalate free, made in the USA, and not testing on animals. I expected this to be a heavy cream since it is "extra moisturizing" but it absorbs quickly!

target-refresh-box-nivea

NIVEA In-Shower Body Lotion - 2.7 oz Value $1.20

As the name says, this is a lotion you apply in the shower. I like the convenience factor, so I'm interested in trying it out. I don't love the scent, but I don't mind it at all - it isn't too strong either. (One thing to note - the instructions mention to make sure to clean out your tub/shower after using - like an oily scrub, this lotion can make surfaces slippery!).

John Frieda Keraflex Hair Spray - 2 oz Value $1.50

I wasn't a big fan of this hairspray. It's designed to give your hair a brushable hold, but I didn't think it gave much hold at all. And when it comes to hairspray I want the impossible: completely brushable/touchable hair that doesn't move an inch! 🙂

target-refresh-box-nip-fab

Braided Elastic Bands - Value $1

Hair ties are a pretty common staple in Target Beauty boxes - fortunately, they are a very useful item for me! These are braided to be stronger than their regular hair ties.

Nip+Fab Glycolic Fix Pads - (5 pads) Value $1

These pads are designed to help resurface and brighten your skin tone. I just tried one out and I like the scent - they are very refreshing too. My skin still looks the same, but I'm guessing you have to use these over time to see results.

target-refresh-box-clear

Clear Total Care Shampoo - 1.7 oz Value $.50

Clear Men 2-in-1 Complete Care Anti-Dandruff - 1.7 oz Value $.70

Well, this box was supposed to have the Clear Total Care Shampoo and Conditioner, but instead, I got a shampoo for her and him! Not sure if that will happen to everyone, but based on some comments I've seen, it has happened to more than just me! Fortunately, my husband Eric loves the combo shampoo-conditioners, so this will go to use!

Verdict: This box has a value of about $23 - I think that's great for a $7 box! (You really can't beat the value in these Target boxes!). My favorite item is the Acure Day Cream, and really I like everything else too!

What do you think of the latest Target Beauty Box? Were you able to grab one?

I received my two of these today. I didn’t really look at what was in them when I ordered them, and now I wish I had ordered two of the other one. Oh well. I’ll use all the items, except for the hair spray, but three body lotions? That’s a bit much for me.

Well, that’s unexpected. My box arrived today and it actually had the matching Scalp and Hair Therapy shampoo and conditioner that we were supposed to get. I wonder if they ran out and that’s why some people got both and some people only got one or the other.

I recently learned that Target is releasing their first ever beauty line starting with nail polish called “Defy & Inspire”. I am little surprised they did not toss a polish in one (or both!) boxes to generate a bit of buzz. Still love my boxes – they’re a great deal – but dangit, I need more nail polish (like I need to catch the plague)! Maybe we’ll get one next time. Nail polish and eye makeup are two of my favorite things.

I ordered both boxes. One arrived Monday, and this one arrived yesterday. These two beauty boxes are my first ones from Target, and I see why they sell out so fast. I gave my sporty teen daughter the Micellar wipes and the elastic bands from this box. She’s currently playing high school basketball, training for travel softball, and about to start training for travel basketball, but she’s also still a girl. She loves the wipes. They take her makeup off with ease and leave her skin fresh and soft. I used he in-shower lotion and the exfoliating pads last night. It feels so good to be pampered, if even just a little. I used the Clear condition as a leave-in this morning (I have curly hair), and used the hair spray after putting in my hair gel, just to seal everything. My curls look awesome! No frizz, holding their shape, but still flexible. As I stated on my comment on the other Target beauty box, I will most likely put the other products up for my mom, save as stocking stuffers, or make up some bags and give to the less fortunate. As I type this, I realize I didn’t put up my $3 off coupon from this box like I did the other one, so here’s to hoping I remember to do that when I get home! These boxes are awesome and I hope I get in on the next one!

I ordered one of each of the Target boxes. So far, I have only received the Renew box. I can’t wait to get the Refresh box. I need those make-up removal wipes!?

Reply ButtonReply

Karla

I also ordered both boxes. I received the Renew box on Monday. When I looked at the tracking numbers they were both the same for both boxes. Yesterday I called Target customer service and they are going to credit my account for the box that didn’t arrive. The rep apologized and stated that if the other box arrived I could keep it. I wasn’t counting on it but low and behold today I received this box. I was super excited as I had already assumed that I would not be receiving it. It is such a great box!

Same thing happened to me. I ordered both but I’ve only received the other box. Looking at my order, both had the same tracking number. I called and they refunded my money for this box stating they should have been together since they had the same tracking. Sad that I’m not going to get it but I think like the other box more anyway.

Jennifer

Did you get your second box yet? I have the same issue, but haven’t got either box yet, and the tracking number shows up as invalid on both USPS and UPS (because Target is linking the same tracking number to both places when I check my order online). 🙁 I just chatted with customer service, and he said, yeah that’s the wrong tracking number but we can’t tell what the right one is. I’m supposed to call back on Monday (the final estimated delivery date) if they don’t arrive, and then I’ll get a refund. But I really want the boxes! I’ll be so bummed if they never arrive. 🙁 I don’t understand how Target could screw this up – it’s not like it’s the first time they’ve sold beauty boxes!

Cynthia

Don’t lose hope just yet! The same thing happened to me, but my second box did in fact arrive! So, maybe yours will and you actually would have just paid $7 for both boxes 😛

BonBon

I got the shampoo and matching conditioner! …but the men’s wouldn’t have bothered me. Very happy with this box. These samples are great sizes. That acure day cream will last me awhile!

Kay

I got my boxes (1 each) today. I got the CLEAR shampoo and conditioner combo. I only wanted to buy one box, but each box had items that I wanted to try, so ended up ordering both – ahhhhh! I did it again!

Sara

Love love love the Target boxes. What caught my attention was your hairspray comment. It’s not impossible, try Alterna Caviar working hairspray in the light purple can. Totally touchable and brush able hair that doesn’t move!

Reply ButtonReply

JL

OMG I just googled it and it’s $20 a can! Is it worth it? They way I go through hairspray I would need like 2 cans a month.

Reply ButtonReply

Sara

Don’t order the small can…that’s $20 for 7.4 oz. Order the 15.5oz can for $28. Almost double the amount for $8 more. Plus it’ll last you 4-6 months no problem. It’s HUGE! And you don’t need to use a ton to get the hold. The regular cheapie hairspray (suave, loreal, etc.) costs around $3-4 for an 11oz can and will only last you a month. Maybe….plus it’s sticky and brittle. This stuff will make it look like you’ve got nothing in your hair and will keep your style fresh all day. It’s the most amazing hairspray ever 🙂

Liz Cadman

I love Alterna haircare products – I should have known they would have created the perfect hairspray. Thank you!! 🙂

I got the Renewal box instead of this box. I chose that box instead because it had a full Revlon mascara that I had been wanting to try. That alone pays for the box! I received my box yesterday in the mail and I really enjoyed the box. I used the mascara today in fact and so far so good, I liked it. It also had the full size deodorant dry spray from degree which is my go to deodorant spray. So those two things alone sold this box for me!

This was the first Target box I passed on. Mainly because it had a lot of similar products as the Allure Thrills box. Still a good box though.

I’m just so pleased with both of these boxes! The Micellar wipes made it worth it for me, I’ve been wanting to try them and my Target (which is an hour away) is always sold out of them. I swear by the Simple Micellar water so having it in wipes form is just so convenient.

Everything I can use and a lot I started using today! I too got the shampoo and a 2 in 1 for BOTH boxes. I definitely prefer to have a shampoo and conditioner pair, but I’m not going to complain, these are always used for my travels anyway.

I think what’s so nice about these boxes is I see myself using all of the items at some point whereas lately with my Birchbox most of the stuff just gets thrown in a drawer never to be used. I’m not discovering any new items or getting to pamper myself with items I wouldn’t normally buy. I’m definitely doing that with these boxes! Well worth it IMO.

I also received a mismatched sample in both boxes. I ordered this box and the other one that was available. In this box, I received the women’s conditioner and the men’s 2 in 1. In the other box, I receive a women’s shampoo (i don’t remember the brand) and then a shampoo/body wash combo, which is obviously for men too. It seemed strange to me, but I guess I wasn’t the only one. Other than that, I loved the boxes!

Shannon

I received two Shampoos, no Conditioner! I’ve emailed customer service, so hopefully I’ll get the same offer.

Target boxes are the best deal! $7 each plus I used the Beauty coupon and red card.

The Target boxes all came today with my Beauty DNA, AND Birchbox. My mailman must be like, “WTF?”

I LOVE these editions of the Target boxes! They are getting better and better. This was my favorite of the two, I think… not sure. Love them both.

I am so glad to sample the Simple micellar facial cleansing wipes.

*******I learned something which MIGHT help someone else.******
Often, the pre-moistened facial cleansing wipes which come in a resealable package doesn’t always reseal well. I , put the entire package in a small zip lock sandwich bag. The wipes stay fresh and moist and you don’t have to worry about stray bacterial contamination from possibly being in the vanity area of your bathroom either. ( I keep all of mine in my nightstand because when I am lazy, I am COMPLETELY lazy) .
Lastly, kudos to Target for putting moisturizers, body lotions and creams in winter boxes. Sometimes, it just doesn’t work out that way with sub. boxes. 🙂

I forgot to mention the CLEAR shampoo and conditioner. I got the women’s shampoo and conditioner, and this is my ” go to” brand. I’ve tried every expensive salon and boutique brand, and none make my sensitive scalp feel so good. I have used CLEAR for well over a year and I haven’t noticed any hair loss in my shower or hair brush. My professionally colored hair is exceptionally thick and straight, and this brand really gives me a lot of shine. I love it. 🙂

I got 1 of this one and 2 of the other one and I love them both! I was excited that I got decent color head bands in the other box…1 blue and 1 black..both colors I can wear. I love all the products in both boxes and I’m thrilled about the full sizes! I didn’t get the mixed up shampoo/conditioner, thank goodness. I think these might be my favorite Target boxes so far!

Stephanie

How did everybody get there Target boxes already? I ordered mine the day they put it on sale and according to my tracking information it says that mine won’t get here until the 14th. 🙁

Reply ButtonReply

Rachel

I got both of mine late last week, and am happy with both! I love value of target boxes, and that I almost always actually use the products. I ordered one of each, but I sort of wish I’d gotten 2 of the one with the deodorant and mask!

Tina

How do I order these as by the time I see it on My Subscription Addiction they are gone. Pleaseeee help me with the info. Thanks so much & have a great week …

Hi Tina,

Sorry – these boxes sell out within about 10 hours of going live. I would recommend signing up for the daily newsletter to get an email when it is available for purchase. And make sure to buy it as soon as you get the email 🙂

Hope that helps!

Jen

It definitely wasn’t just you. I got the men’s shampoo as well, though we’re about to leave for a trip, so that was super convenient timing. I’m also happily surprised to have found a full size item in each of the boxes. I wasn’t expecting that.

Reply ButtonReply

Nyx

I bought the limit of two of this box and I’m so glad I did! What a great deal these Target boxes are! I also got the conditioner for her and the men’s 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner but it’s moot to me. Shampoo is not gender-specific, that’s just marketing, so silly! But I wash with conditioner only so I’m swapping the shampoo. It actually looks like a good product with tea tree oil (which I love) so no complaints here. I had to try the nip+fab immediately and didn’t find them irritating at all! nice! Sure, they send lots of elastics but I wear ponytails every day so yay again!

Reply ButtonReply

Barbie

I got two shampoos also, but I love the Clear brand. (Thanks world of sub boxes – I would have never tried this brand without them!)

I usually wash with conditioner too, but on those occasions when a shampoo is in order, this Clear is now my go to. I’m gonna put on my big boy pants and try the Men’s formula shampoo. I really like tea tree, so it’s worth the risk. I’ll let you guys know if it grows hair on my chest or something weird like that. lol

Still in love with these boxes. I got both and everything will be used. Excited too to try out a new products like the Nip + Fab and Acure day cream.

Tiffany

I loved both my target boxes this time. Even with the men’s shampoo, this was a vast improvement over last month in my opinion. I fully intend on using the men’s shampoo. It doesn’t smell too “manly.”

Reply ButtonReply

Megan

I, too, have the mismatched shampoo and conditioner and I’m also missing the Nivea in shower lotion. I don’t really care about the shampoo thing, but I’d really like the other sample! Is there any sort of CS specifically for the beauty boxes?

Reply ButtonReply

DD

I had a problem with my box today too. Clicked on ‘contact us’ at the bottom of the page and a chat opened up. He issued me a $2 credit on my card. Rec’d a confirmation of it within a few minutes. Their customer service is pretty good, I think. Good luck!

Reply ButtonReply

Tierney

I got the Clear shampoo and conditioner and the $3 certificate. In other words, I got everything I was supposed to. 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

Diana

I’ve only ordered a few Target Beauty Boxes thus far, four if I remember correctly, and out of those four, the first box was missing an item or two which it was supposed to include, which made a few of the other items useless to me (I can’t use shampoo without conditioner). The second box turned up when and as it should have. Now with my third experience ordering two boxes at once, my tracking information was given incorrectly, only one box has shown up (so far), even though both have supposedly been delivered, and the box I did receive, the Refresh Box, as mentioned by others, included a men’s shampoo and women’s conditioner instead of a women’s shampoo and conditioner. I will try the men’s product, since it is in the box instead of the correct item, but I’m starting to get disappointed in these Target Beauty Boxes in general since there always seems to be some sort of issue with them.

Reply ButtonReply

Keebler

I had the same issue. I got my two renewal boxes… tracking numbers in email worked. The tracking link fir the two refresh boxes never worked. One randomly showed up yesterday..the other is still missing. Target CS says it showed delivered but the tracking number she gave me was for a different box..

I got his-and-hers Clear products, too, but I have the opposite — I have the women’s conditioner & no shampoo!

I got a sample of the Goody braided hair ties in the mail a few months back — I have no idea if/when I signed up to receive them, but I really like them & I’m glad to have a couple more. I don’t know if they actually are triple the strength, but they’re prettier to wear if you’re the sort of person who likes to keep an extra hair tie around their wrist.
