Looking for the latest spoiler for this box? Find it here:
And here is a summary of the box thanks to entwashian on the forum:
First: the spoiler of the Jayne Cobb figure was not exactly accurate: it's a blind box figure, and I got Simon! I am pleased about this, because I think the Simon design is wayyyy cuter. Second, other than this it really is a "Kaylee" box (I suppose if you get the Kaylee fig in the blind box, it'll be completely Kaylee). The Kaylee figurine holding the parasol seen in the promotional materials is included. There's also an adorable teddy bear in Kaylee's signature coveralls -- except instead of having a teddy bear patch, IT HAS A KAYLEE PATCH, a set of swirly parasol mini drink umbrellas, and "everything's shiny, cap'n" cloisonee pin that also features the parasol design. The final item is a couple prints of the ship's concept art. Also tossed in are a couple loose "greetings from Persephone" stickers, and a couple cards from the Firefly game. The info mag is also cute -- there's an interview with Jewel Staite, and a fandom-famous Kaylee cosplayer.
What do you think of the spoilers for the first Cargo Crate?

For any of you who complained about the value in this box, I will gladly give you what you paid for the whole crate just for the Kaylee figure!

Got the box today. I have been having a rough week so this box o’ Kaylee put a big ole’ smile on my face. 🙂 Love figures and plushes and both of these were well done. I have received figures that are extremely accurate which are creepy as all get out to Pops which are sorts like a hint to a character’s features and “uniform”. I really like this figurine. Something about it conveys her character’s shininess. The bear was one of the best plushes I have seen in a box.
Haven’t had a chance to open the blind box yet. From the literature it sounds like you either get Jayne or Simon and I am guessing next shipment is going to be another chance between two characters.
The parasols are super cute and I will actually use them to decorate some other figurines I have. I know some people dislike stickers and pins but I love them.
So, if it wasn’t obvious – I am loving this box.

I agree that this crate wasn’t worth the value. The teddy bear and Cobb figurine are very cute; however, the Kaylee figurine, which seems to have been the most valued item in the box, looks nothing like Kaylee. I don’t know how the promo pictures of the statue looks so much different from the actual statue. While there was a couple of pins in the crate too, the rest was pretty useless (the rendered drawings, random playing cards, ads, etc.) I want to keep the subscription going to see what’s in the next box, but I am cautiously optimistic.

I disagree, I was very happy with everything in the box. But then I’m fairly easy to please when it comes to Firefly. I’d have liked it to have a tshirt as well, but for 40$ there’s plenty in this one to keep me coming back.

Disappointing Junk Cap’n. I’m a huge Kaylee fan but the figurine doesn’t even look like her. The Jayne doll and the bear are cute but I feel like, even at $40, I overpaid for yet another Loot Crate of junk. I thought getting this box meant I would like everything in it, but unfortunately even the *guaranteed $65 has got to include on hell of a markup.

For the price, I was a bit disappointed–the drink umbrellas are cute, but disposable, I’m not a huge plush fan – so that was pretty useless to me. I really wish we’d gotten a T-shirt, compared to the monthly box, this felt like far less awesomeness for far more money – makes me wonder if they had to pay a higher licensing fee.

^This. A bit disappointed in the value. Though, I do like the figures, bear and pins… Where’s the T-shirt or some other wearable to show off my fandom?? I think that’s all the box is missing for what we paid.

I think between the bear and the figure it’s already more than what you’d expect to get in a standard lootcrate. I was hoping for a shirt too but I’m very happy with the value of it. I love the plush (it’s got a Kaylee patch!). I do wish they had’ve gone the route of “shirt in every box” the way the standard crate did but 40$ for this crate is well below what the contents are worth. Just my opinion 🙂

It seems appropriate that Simon be in in the Box o’ Kaylee. 😀

Haha, the instagrammer got the Simon blind box figure, too! How fortunate that it matches my box description! It’s hard to tell from that photo, but he’s got a tiny stethoscope around his neck.

Just got mine today at it was worth every cred! Took down my jumble of random awesome Funko Pop!’s and started a dedicated Firefly display shelf for my books, games, and figures. Can’t wait for the next one, I hope it’s Wash!
