Benton Honest Cleansing Foam 8g- $0.64 ($12 for full size)
I like this cleansing foam and have received it before in my Memebox Mini K-Beauty Travel Kit. It foams up nicely and doesn't really smell like anything.
It's Skin Color Play Powder Eyeshadow in #16
I received a shimmery pale beige eyeshadow. It swatches sheer and would be wonderful for a bit of subtle color or a highlighter color. I do realize that Korean-branded eyeshadows tend to be more sheer because that's just the style. I also saw that the manufacturing date of this is 06/2013, so this may be old or discontinued stock since I can't easily find this exact line of shadows online.
Swatch of It's Skin eyeshadow.
Botanic Farm Natural Energy Rice Mask - $2.20
This is a nice face mask with a good fit! The rice extract helps purify skin while promoting a clear complexion. The info card also says this is good for people with sensitive skin.
Lador Sleeping Clinic Ampoule - $5 (on sale at Memebox for $3)
I've received this hair ampoule before from another beauty box. This intensive care ampoule is designed to nourish the scalp, help regenerate hair fibers, and provide a protective barrier from dryness or heat styling. The info card says to apply this to damp hair and blow dry or air dry before sleeping. It didn't do much for my hair, but my hair isn't "severely damaged" to begin with.
Too Cool For School Egg Mellow Cream samples
This is a 5-in-1 moisturizer that nourishes and improves skin elasticity. You get not one, but seven foil packets! I combined all of them into a clean 10g jar, shown above. It looks and smells like delicious custard! I apply this at night right before bed. It doesn't feel sticky and I wake up to nice plump skin in the morning. Just a few dabs is enough to cover my whole face, so this should last me a while.
Verdict: This month's 3B Box was ok but not as good as last month's. My favorite is the Too Cool For School cream because it feels moisturizing without being heavy or sticky (plus it smells like custard). I didn't estimate retail value since I couldn't find some items online. Overall this bag was worth $12 to me, but I wouldn't call it a good value per se. I do think there are good months and bad months though! Next month may be better.
