This is a review of the large box, which you can purchase on a monthly or every other month basis. I love the eco-friendly packaging inside!

Note: Lots of other countries are available in the drop-down list in the sign-up window. I can’t tell how to calculate shipping for those countries, though. I’d suggest e-mailing them if you are interested and live outside the US.

Petal Dance Soap – Value $7.50
I like when soaps have flower petals in them. It’s just a fun extra touch. And the rosebush in my front yard is blooming right now so this is definitely timely. Good especially if you like florals.
Eucalyptus Aloe Soap – Value $7.50
The little inclusions here are peppermint leaves. This is an invigorating soap but also I am saving it for when I have clogged sinuses as I think it will be especially helpful then.
Note: This month’s bars are not available in the Clean Bar Box shop at the moment, so I’m using values based on previous months.
Spring Rain Scrub – Value $3.75
There is usually a scrub in Clean Bar Box. This time it’s the Spring Rain soap and the exfoliator is sea salt. (This is the green bar, obviously.) This has a nice, fresh scent.
Red Apple Soap – Value $3.75
I do like the color here a lot. The scent isn’t overly strong but is pleasant and fruity. Apple doesn’t really say “spring” to me but that’s OK because I like the soap!
Verdict: I estimated a value of about $22.50 for the April Clean Bar Box. This is a subscription where you always know what to expect in terms of value. I think they do a really good job at choosing seasonal scents and I also like the soap; this subscription has got me using a lot more bar soap than I used to! Also, for what it’s worth, I have somewhat sensitive skin and some other soap recently gave me a rash. But the Clean Bar Box soaps have never caused me any issues at all.
I also like that you can get smaller soaps in the small box or choose every other month delivery. Either would be a good option for a small household that doesn’t use quite as much soap.
What did you think of the April Clean Bar Box? Do you get any soap subscriptions?
