This is the cancellation policy for a month to month sub:
“to cancel a subscription, you must start a conversation with us. Please note that in order to allow adequate time for us to process subscription orders, subscriptions cannot be cancelled between the 5th of the month and the 10th of the month. If you have a month-to-month subscription and you request to cancel between the 1st and 5th of the month, there will be a $15 cancellation fee. After your subscription order has shipped on the 10th of the month, you can get in touch with us to cancel your subscription.”
It’s kind of confusing but it seems like we can cancel after the 1st box is shipped as long as it’s after the 10th of the month (so May 10th if we sign up today?).
I went ahead and signed up but I’m slightly concerned that I may get stuck with a 2nd box even if I don’t like the first one just because their cancellation window is very strict and might be a gotcha. I figure that I’ll definitely be able to cancel before the 3rd month even if I have to call every day 🙂

I was just about to grab this, but then I read the cancellation policy on the checkout page. Looks like they charge you cancel? Does anyone have more insight about this?

Yes, they sure do charge you for canceling. I was not happy (pun intended) when they emailed me about changing since I didn’t see it when I signed up.

They do not charge! Only if you get a longer sub (which you wouldn’t be with this offer, select monthly). If you cancel after a certain pint in the month, you get charged like with any box. I literally got this offer last go ’round and JUST cancelled and it was very simple! Well worth the $5!
