1 GoodShave Handle
The handle is very sleek looking, and much heavier than I first anticipated! The heaviness balances the weight nicely, and I really like the style of it.
My only complaint with this handle is that there is no rubber, or any sort of grip to it, so it gets slick if you're shaving in the shower with any sort of shaving product! I had to be pretty careful while manipulating the razor. It's a small complaint, but something I wanted to mention!
4 GoodShave Blades
I really like these blades. There are four blades, and two strips of moisturizing substance (does anyone ever know what this is?!) on the outside. I personally don't care much about those two little strips, because I use moisturizing shave cream or balm anyway - I know whatever mystery substance in those little strips has nothing on my dry skin!
I have been getting quite a bit of razor burn lately, but I didnt' have any issues with these blades. My skin feels great - no bumps, and smooth, hair free skin! (My other razors have been an issue lately - and the only thing I did differently was use these razors.)
Verdict: I am pretty happy with this shipment of GoodShave razors and the handle. I found that they did a great job, and seem to be higher quality than some of the other razors out there. Since they're a pretty straight blade (no curve for women), I did have to go over a few areas twice, but I think that would be cut down with more experience using these razors. I love the idea that they donate razors to people in need as well - many times grooming is a luxury for those in need, and it shouldn't necessarily be that way. Razors can be super expensive, so I like that they give back to those needing a hand, and this is a pretty good deal for the consumer!
