I loved the opened box lid this month!

Marvel Collector Corps Subscription Box Review April 2016 - pin and patch

Here are this month's patch and pin. I like that they didn't go with the main characters for these smaller items - instead, we get Crossbones and Black Panther!

Civil War Shirt - Value $10?

I'm liking the design of the exclusive shirt this month. I wonder if we'll ever get a non-POP shirt in this box similar to the most recent Smuggler's Bounty shirt? I'd be very interested in that!

Captain America/Iron Man 2-Pack - Value $30+?

These are yet to appear on POP Price Guide, so this is just a guess and I wouldn't be surprised if they're valued even higher than this. This is the type of item I subscribe for - how cool is this set?

Excellent choice for the main item in this month's box!

Marvel Collector Corps Subscription Box Review April 2016 - tony stark dorbz

Tony Stark Dorbz - Value $15+?

Again, not available yet on the price guide, but these exclusive Dorbz have been high in value too. I really like this Dorbz  - even Liz commented on how much it looks like RDJ.

Marvel Collector Corps Subscription Box Review April 2016 - comic and lanyard

Black Panther #1 - Value $4.99

This is the first issue from the latest Black Panther run. It's getting good reviews, so I'm excited to give it a go! This is a special variant cover for Collector Corps as well!

Civil War Lanyard - Value $1-2?

The final item is a lanyard. You could use this if you're looking to save your theater ticket from opening day!

Here's a better glance at some of the details.

Verdict: I've loved every delivery from Collector Corps so far. I'm a POP collector, so these boxes are really up there in value for me. Typically, the price of the POP and/or Dorbz figure are close to cover the cost of the box - which is great, because the smaller items and shirt are usually pretty fun too.

Here's my MAJOR issue with Collector Corps (and Smuggler's Bounty/Legion of Collectors) - the customer care as practically non-existent! I bought an annual subscription when this first launched. Since then, my billing address and credit card had changed. With over 2 weeks left until shipment of this box, I received an email to update my information because my card declined. In my account, everything was locked and could no longer be changed - so naturally it was time to email customer care. Well, I have yet to even get a response to my email that is about a month old now, and because of that I had to re-subscribe and I lost my Founder's status. Hopefully, this is something that they address in the near future as they are now a BIG company with 3 subscriptions - and because of that, it's unacceptable to not have timely customer care at this point.

I’m replying now because only just now got my box today. I too have moved since the last box I received and went through the same issues with customer service. This box marks the first box in the company’s second year in business and their customer service has only grown worse. Something needs to be done.

I just moved too, and I didn’t have my new address until after they locked the account details, so I emailed customer service to ask them to change it. Unlike most of the stories, I did get a response fairly quickly, but it wasn’t super helpful. They said they’d try to fix it, but no promises.

My shipping email said my new address, so I thought everything was cool, but I went back to my old place yesterday to finish cleaning it out and my Collector Corps box was sitting at the front door. I was lucky I went back! I would have been pissed if I didn’t get it

We have also had a terrible experience with their customer service. We have had 3 boxes now get delayed and or lost in shipping. Their customer service just sends us a link to their FAQs and then says once they ship something it’s not their problem to make sure it actually gets to you. My husband complained on Twitter because the email response too so long and instead of a response he was blocked by the company. I’ve honestly never dealt with a group that tries to avoid their customers so much. It’s disappointing because the items are great, but paying for the box with the chance it will never show up and not receiving a refund is just unacceptable for us.

My sister would love this! Do you know if this box is still available to buy?

I haven’t had to deal with customer service but I did have a month where I got the email saying my payment needed to be updated, but nothing had changed. So I logged in and just confirmed my info and resubmitted everything and was good to go.

People have been getting mixed reviews about the customer service. I paid using PayPal and it said payment failed. I sent a message and received a reply the same day. I replied with all the details of my situation and a week later I got a reply saying they changed the fail payment to processing.
