First of all, My Best Box has one of the nicest boxes I've ever received. It's really sturdy! This box will definitely be repurposed. These info cards were included in my package. The one at the top shows a selection of some of the boxes they might send you. The one on the bottom gives the details of what's included in my box. I have to admit I was a little disappointed to receive "My Best Smile" as my first box. On the other hand, my teeth are really important to me!
Simply Gum (Mint) - Value $2.37
Simply Gum is made from only 6 ingredients, and they're all natural! It tastes okay and I can still blow bubbles. Cool!
Tom's Wicked Fresh! Mouthwash - Value $4.99
We love Tom's of Maine in my house! The active ingredient in this mouthwash is zinc, so it keeps your breath fresh and helps fight illness. Also very cool!
Desert Essence Tea Tree Oil Dental Floss - Value $2
This dental floss has such a nice smell, plus tea tree oil is a natural antibiotic.
Dr. Tung's Snap-On Toothbrush Sanitizer - Value $7.92
These are so neat! They snap on over your toothbrush and release antibacterial vapors that sanitize your toothbrush while it's not in use. I think I'm going to get these for everyone in my house. They would be so helpful during cold and flu season, and save me so much time trying to sanitize them myself!
Tom's Flouride-Free Anti-Plaque & Whitening Toothpaste - Value $6.06
We have tried this toothpaste before, and we love it! So I was happy to see it as the toothpaste of choice in this box.
G*U*M Dual Action Tongue Cleaner - Value $3.50
I never knew such a thing as a tongue cleaner existed! We were always told to brush our tongues with our toothbrush, but if you think about all the germs on your tongue, maybe this is a good idea. We will definitely try it out!
My Best Box also included a $5 gift card to be used on anything in their shop! Score!
Verdict: I think MyBestBox is great! It's a great concept that's fairly unique in execution. The products we received are all natural, mostly new to us, and health promoting. The value is only about $27 though (not including the $5 gift card), so I think they need some work there. Their site claims that this box has a retail value of over $50. On the other hand, this particular box has the lowest retail value of all the boxes they have, so it's bound to get better with my next box. If you are looking to improve your health and explore new products that might help you, I think My Best Box is a fun way to do it.
