PLVSH Style is a subscription styling service for plus-size women. They describe themselves as "Concierge Styling, Exclusively for Women Sizes 14+." I love this type of box! When I signed up, I had to fill out a pretty in-depth questionnaire regarding my size, style preferences, and lifestyle in order for them to select pieces that are just right for me. Selections for each subscriber will (and should) vary.

My Subscription Addiction paid for this subscription. (Check out our review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

My package came with a pretty detailed list of everything PLVSH Style sent me, with costs to keep the items and explanations of why they chose each item for me. I feel that a lot of thought went into the process of selecting each item just for me. I like that!

On the reverse side are some important reminders of their terms and the process for returning the items I don't wish to keep.

plvsh-mar-dress

BB Dakota Drawstring Waist Tuscon Dress - Cost to keep $95

I LOVE THIS DRESS! OMG! It's so cute, it looks good on me, it's soft, and it's perfect for spring and summer! This is a definite keeper!

plvsh-mar-denim

Vince Camuto Soft Denim Shirt Shift Dress - Cost to keep $144

This dress is super soft! It could be worn a number of ways, but I love the way it hangs all by itself. It kind of looks like I'm a little girl in my Dad's shirt. The only thing I don't love about it is the shoulder tabs. Sadly, I have to send this one back.

plvsh-mar-jumpsuit

BB Dakota Jumpsuit - Cost to keep $99

I'm sorry, but I have no idea how to photograph a jumpsuit! I did my best. When this garment is on, the elastic causes a blousy effect on the top in the front that's quite flattering. I know you can't see the bottom of the pants, but the hem is tapered in toward the ankles. That's a very unflattering look on me personally. I wish they had just stayed wide-legged! I would have totally kept this if the legs stayed wide to the bottom. How cool is the design of this? Look at the stylish detailing on the back!

plvsh-mar-skirt

Nic + Zoe Paneled Twirl Skirt - Cost to keep $148

This skirt is really flattering and well made! I just almost never wear skirts, so I have to send it back.

plvsh-mar-blouse

Karen Kane 3/4 Sleeve Pleat Front Blouse - Cost to keep $88

This blouse is so beautiful on the dress form. Unfortunately, this color is the most fattening color on me! I don't know why, but it always makes me look enormous. I'm sure it's just me, but I have to send this back anyway.

Verdict: I think PLVSH is a wonderful service, and I love my packages from them. Their prices are a little steep, but the pieces are very high quality and current. Their service is concierge styling, and it's really designed for women who are too busy to spend much time shopping, but need stylish / high-end apparel that fits well and looks fabulous. I think they really do a great job accomplishing that goal!

I love that BB Dakota dress and found it on Amazon listed as “Ivana Tribal Printed Lace Trim Dress” for only $84, so maybe reach out to them for their price-match policy to get the difference back, Anna. Thanks for your review! 🙂

I love all of these pieces, but I agree with you-are tapered ankles really flattering to anyone? Who wants to make their hip area look bigger than it needs to be?

I’m a total apple shape, aka, no hips. Tapered pants give my wider hips to balance my top half and give me more of an hourglass shape 🙂

My hips are small with wider shoulders. The triangle shape, aka the Charlize Thereon look. Some of us have small hips and American clothing isn’t geared to that shape at all. So we appreciate the few pieces, aka skinny, stove pipe pants we have thrown to us. Its pain in the butt because most women’s clothes is geared around bigger hips. Have to alter my clothes in order for them to fit well

Trust me, wide hips are no picnic either. I can NEVER get something that fits me in both the hips and waist. My measurements are at least three sizes different in those areas.

Anna

LOL! OK? Thank you JL!
