Yay! I snagged a card grab bag. This time it said stationary and not supplies, so fingers crossed that it’s actually cards and not the supplies to make cards. Just a reminder that their shipping is really weird so if you’re buying two grab bags, it’s probably cheaper to make separate purchases than to buy both in the same transaction. The shipping for 1 was 2.75 which I find perfectly reasonable.

I’ll remember that for next time, my shipping was over $9 for just a few items…I swear I didn’t go cray-cray this time!! Lol

I sooo hope it’s actual stationery – I’m not a stamper. And thanks for the tip on the shipping!

I got a card grab bag recently and was extremely disappointed to find that it was a card-MAKING grab bag, not a grab bag of ready-to-go cards with envelopes. Just in case that isn’t obvious (wasn’t to me!).

I don’t even see how what I got could be used to make cards…random tags, a doily, a bunch of paper/cardstock…a great value if you scrapbook, but pretty useless for what I wanted, which was, you, know, CARDS.

I totally agree. They REALLY should make it clearer as the random assortment of useless things I received is not at all what I expected.

Laurie

Oh dear…it certainly suggested that it was actual cards!

Yup I just received mine today…its card making materials, no cards. Which this was stated somewhere, got a bunch of little pieces of paper and a bunch of gift tags. ?

The Planner grab bag must be sold out already, but the scrapbook, documenter and cards grabbies are still there. I snagged a Documenter and threw a few stickers in my cart to use the 20%off ” embellishment20″ code!!! ?

Exactly what I was about to post Cecilia. The only grab bag options are: card, documenter, and scrapbook. If you buy anything other than a grab bag, use the code Cecilia listed above. It won’t take the cost off until the very end. However, there may be a some things that are more than 20% off. I bought the Heidi Swapp “Make Things Pretty Pouch”. It was advertised as on sale from $15 to $7.50. I used the 20% off code and it ended up taking the correct 50% off right before I entered my PayPal info. I probably made this more confusing than it actually is. But, you have time to check and recheck your bill before you hit send. Also, the shipping is expensive (imo). But, buying enough of the sale items make it ok in the end!
