Target Beauty Box Review – April 2016

I ordered the April beauty box, and never received it. Fortunately they’re going to refund my money but still disappointing.

Thank you for the email to let me know when this box is available. I bought 3 (2 of them will be gifts for Mother’s Day). Thanks again.

Is there any word on there being a May box?

FYI: that Maybelline coupon is good on ANY face product (it says it on there). I wasn’t thrilled with the foundation in the foil pack, but I realized the coupon could be used on something else and bought Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless for $4 at Target with only that coupon. Yay!

I got my box yesterday. I’m pretty happy with everything, except the lipstick. I got the Carmel color, a white base nude. Looks awful on me. I have a lot of pigment in my lips and it just washed it out. But it’s whatever. The thing I was most excited about is the sheet mask. I am such a sheet mask junkie, and I really like the water sleeping mask we got from the same brand in last months box.

Mine arrived today and I’m happy with everything, especially the lipstick! this is actually the first lippie from a sub that I actually like, it’s called titillate. I was so tired of deep reds and bright pinks. Love Target boxes!

So my Target Beauty Box was delivered on Monday but when I went to my mailbox to grab my mail and the key to the parcel because it wouldnt fit in my mailbox it wasn’t there. It was there Tuesday , Weds, and contacted the USPS and Target and both say it was scanned and I guess the mailman took it or he put the key in the wrong mailbox and they took it. Its a sign from God telling me to stop buying subscription boxes…. But I can’t… Help

Wahhhh! According to USPS tracking my boxes are sitting one state away since April 12. ?

I put my lipstick up on the swap site but then took it down and tried the store. They didn’t even know the boxes existed (the chick at CS was like, “You mean Birchbox? We can’t exchange Birchbox items.”) but did let me switch out the lipstick. They did it like a return without a receipt. The color choice was only ok, and the only non-light colors they had were reds that all looked alike. I got Cherry Succulent.

I didn’t expect to love this box but I really do! Everything but the hairspray is useful to me. I got the lipstick in Tempt Berry, which is too bright and dark for me, and was going to put it in the shelter-donation box but I saw several people were able to exchange theirs for color at Target and decided to try. I was allowed to do so! – and chose a color that seemed good, a lighter, warmer pink, but what I didn’t realize it is so frosted it appears several shades lighter and cooler than it should be. So just a heads up, a lot of these are frosted and there is no indication on the packaging or shelf. Wish I had just donated it.

For those who do not use hairspray, I read that it could be used to stop a run or snag in pantyhose. I tried it on a run and it worked. Since I have received hairspray in my last 3 boxes, I keep a can with my pantyhose, a can with my travel supplies and I took a can to work.

I hope I get a deep pink or rose colored lipstick. I definitely could not wear that Caramel Kiss color or anything with an orange undertone.

Bummed I got the same lipstick in both boxes. I love the lotion, in a nurse and constantly go through lotion and this one is very good from what I can see for my dryness.

Not sorry I skipped this one! I don’t use hairspray, and although it sounds like there are some colors of the lipstick that would have worked for me, I probably would have ended up with pink or red. My fair skin, freckles, and red hair don’t go with either 🙂 My Walmart box was great this time, and my BB should be here any day…so I’m good for now. Looking forward to the next Target box!

Not impressed at all! I’m glad I skipped this month… I know it’s not a lot of money but I wouldn’t used any of the items… Hopefully next month will be better because I do like target boxes

I worked from home yesterday and had both kids home sick with me. So when my husband came home from work and had the box from the mail. I was so excited. I put the mask on and went to lay down because it had been such a miserable day. And then my 8 year old opened the door and when I looked up he just started shrieking. It was hilarious, or maybe I was just in a bad mood. But I told him it served him right for not knocking first.

I was happy with it. It is all stuff that I’ll use this summer and actually the ointment is great for my currently chapped lips. I got an ugly bright pink lipstick, which was broken so I didn’t feel bad throwing it away and Target refunded me part of the box cost! 🙂

Anyone else received a “delayed order” notification? Instead of shipping, Target set a new delivery date to Apr 24. This was my first time buying anything from Target, so I’m not sure if this is ok or not.

How do you use the mask? I see it has two layers (in addition to two parts)? Do you put the white paper-y layer on your face or the clear cellophane-y layer? I decided to stand firm and not to get this box, now FOMO has kicked in. No more skipping Target boxes! I do have these masks from other boxes.

I have not received the boxes. I ordered two and my cc was charged but never got a confirmation email. Did you all get a confirmation after ordered the box? Should I call customer service?

I also got Caramel Kiss, which is not a good nude for me. I could probably make it work by fussing with it or using gloss but I have probably a dozen nudes that are nicer so will get rid of it. But was really excited for the lipstick (I’m a lip product junkie) so that made me sad and feel like the box wasn’t really worth it. I did try the foundation and it looked nicer on my skin than I expected but it just felt like so. much. makeup. I may need to take a break from these Target boxes but I get sucked in so easily. I finally quit Birchbox but have now signed on for Walmart and Target! Sigh.

I will use everything in this box! I love the trial size sunscreens. My lipstick shade was Caramel Kiss which is perfect for me.
