This is the first box from Benevolent Beauty Box! Inside was a folded info card with a little note about the box this month.
On the inside of the card was some details about each item and their retail values.
Bodisafe Beauty Nourishing Lip & Cheek Highlighter - .5 fl oz, value: $20
This is a nice product – it’s a pink cream that adds some color and glow to your cheeks and lips. Better pics below.
Bodisafe Beauty Night Cream – sample (.3 oz?), value: $4.40?
This is a sample, and it’s not listed on the info card, so I’m assuming it’s a little bonus sample – fine with me! I like how this feels – it’s very moisturizing and feels comfortable on the skin.
Here’s a look at what they look like.
The cheek and lip tint has a very subtle color and was very hydrating – gives a good glow because of it! I wasn’t sure I would like it for getting actual color but when I actually applied it to my cheeks I really liked it.
Red Apple Lipstick in Naughty – value: $23.50
I love this lipstick! It’s vegan, gluten-free, and free of any nasty chemicals you wouldn’t want to ingest. This is a beautiful nude color. It has some shimmer but just enough to look like a healthy complexion.
Mannakadar Fantasy 3-in-1 Blush/Highlighter/Eyeshadow – value: $19
This is a really pretty warm, “nude blush pink” shade and works as an eyeshadow, blush, or highlighter! The formula is velvet-y and smooth.
Dermadeli Invigorating Vitamin C Serum – 1 oz, value: $28.99
I love this – vitamin C is so good for your skin. Like the bottle says, it helps improve elasticity and helps repair from UV damage. The bottle says to keep refrigerated and I love how refreshing it feels first thing in the morning.
Here’s a swatch of the 3-in-1 eyeshadow/blush/highlighter.
And here is me wearing the lipstick, cheek and lip gel (on my cheeks), and eyeshadow. I really like all of the products.
The Verdict: I seem to be missing a product… my info sheet lists an eyeshadow from Colorevolution and I don’t have anything from their brand. I contacted customer service about this and they are sending a replacement, but I loved everything so that hasn’t ruined the box for me. I am really happy with the ingredients and performance of all the products that were in my box! I’m looking forward to future boxes. The value adds up to ~$95.89 for the things in my box, and with the eyeshadow I’m missing it would add up to ~$107.89! With or without that missing eyeshadow, it’s a fantastic value!
