I am very happy with this months box. I am actually very please with this box overall. I subscribe to 14 boxes, and this is easily in my top 3. I am sad I did not sign up sooner.

Reading the comments, people who don’t identify as WOC aren’t sure about subbing to this box. It’s funny because my first box in January had a LAQA and Company lip pencil in it that was too light for me! I’m a light caramel princess and the shade was too pink for me. My cousin who also gets the subscription received a red color that looked good for her.
WOC, I think Essence understands, come in a variety of shades and colors. I think this subscription box is good for anyone, anyone with curly hair, and anyone who likes a good value for their beauty products and wants to try something new.
Just like my ipsy bag some items are a hit some are a miss. Although recently I’ve been happy about everything from this box.
There was a body butter in my Essence March box that was amazing! I still think about it. I used it all up 🙂
I’m so glad MSA reviews this box and other WOC boxes because I’ve learned a lot about new products and even about my curly hair type from the reviews.

Just a gentle warning in light of the Allure fiasco: if you sign up today, you won’t get this box. It clearly states that June will be the first one shipped.
Essence has been very tempting lately; I may cave even though I could seriously start a sub box business myself with my ridiculous supply right now. Ahem. 😀

I can’t wait to receive May’s Beauty Box. This is one box that I won’t share. Poo Pouri is a great product and have been using it since I first purchased from QVC 2 years ago. It works!

I am pretty excited about this month’s box, it definitely shows some originality. I could have done without the mascara but it is still useable. The Simple wipes are always good to have handy. This is my first box from Essence and I don’t think I will regret it.

I just read April’s review, and it looked amazing! The 6-month deal looks really good: $12.50 a box plus MSA’s 20% off coupon = $10 a box! But the next box to ship will be June. 🙁

Haha I think the poo-pourri is kind of funny, and will come in handy for a lot of people. The wipes I’ve purchased before at Target and they are great. I don’t need another mascara tbh, but I will sign up for the six month subscription once I get home after work. I regret missing last month’s, and always liked the previous Essence boxes I received. This is honestly a box ANYONE can get, and I hope this has been a successful venture for essence.

Honestly I’m NOT a woman of color but this months box looks great especially with poo-pourri since its not something I would get in my other boxes (or haven’t so far anyway). Lets be honest at some point we all need to use it

I’m not either but I always consider getting this box when I see the reviews. I hesitate, thinking they they might send product specific to dark skin (and I’m a pale red head), but they always seem to include items that anyone can use. I think that when my pre-paid Glossybox sub expires that this will be the one I replace it with.

Omg. Too funny. Actually, Manny MUA swears by that stuff and he put it in one of his monthly favorites videos and went on and on about it. It was his favorite product for the month and he said it works like nobody’s business. So I’m excited to try it.

I actually love Poo-Pourri. I keep some at home and travel with it. Very handy when sharing a bathroom….LOL. I think it’s a great way to introduce it to folks that have never heard of it before. I wish our restrooms at work had some.

I wish more people did courtesy flushes, one woman I used to work with actually had a supervisor have a sit down talk with her about bathroom habits. A lot of people were complaining about her.
