GlossyBox is a monthly beauty subscription box. They also release limited edition boxes throughout the year, and this is a review of their Mother's Day box. (Still available!)

The regular GlossyBox boxes are gorgeous, and their limited edition boxes are even better! I especially like that this Mother's Day box isn't branded for mothers in any way - totally reusable for almost any occasion!

KARITY Professional Five Pigments Eyeshadow Palette - FULL SIZE! Value $21

This is a limited edition palette created for GlossyBox! The pigment is great in these shades. The purple and pink shades are shimmery, and the others are matte. The only color that really didn't show up on my skin was the beige "Birthday Suite" shade. (All colors swatched in photo below.)

Baked Blush-N-Brighten by Laura Geller in Tropic Hues - FULL SIZE! Value $28

This was the product I was most excited about when I saw the spoilers for the box. I love Laura Geller's Backed blushes and the peach and rosy coloring works well with my skin tone. It also adds shimmer, so I recommend using this sparingly at first if you're determining how much you need. (Swatched in photo below.)

Click Click Lipstick by Doucce - FULL SIZE! Value $24

I can't find the color listed anywhere on this lipstick tube, so I'm not sure what shade it is, but the overall look is a cool-toned red. It's pretty bold for me, but I applied it over some lip for a more sheer look. (Swatched in photo below.)

And this lipstick has a clicky mechanism to close the cap which is way too much fun to play with:

bareMinerals Pure Plush Gentle Deep Cleansing Foam - FULL SIZE! Value $22

This cream cleanser is gentle, smells great, and left my skin feeling really clean and smooth, but not dry. It might be my favorite discovery in the box! I've always liked Bare Minerals makeup, but I never tried their skincare products before - now I know I should!

Ouidad Wave Create Sea Spray - FULL SIZE! Value $26

Considering how many sea salt sprays have been in subscription boxes lately, I feel like the subscription box world is telling us we must have mermaid hair all summer long! I decided to try this out on dry hair to see if I could use it for a different purpose than sea salt spray waves. The mist is really fine, and the scent is great, so I tried it on my roots and the result was some life and volume, so I'm happy. (My hair is naturally wavy/a little curly.)

Lauren B. Beauty Gel-Like Top Coat - FULL SIZE! Value $28

Gel effect top coats are probably the only nail polish item that I use up completely, so I'm happy to have another one. This one has a great gel-look finish, too!

Verdict: This box has a value of about $149. I think it's a great box and great value. Besides repurposing the Ouidad spray a bit, everything in this box is perfect for me, and I'm a little obsessed with that cleanser!

I really liked this box. The only product I did not care for was the sea spray. But overall it was a 9.

I actually paid full price for this when the box first came out. I am in love with the Bare Minerals cleanser too. It is an awesome find! The blush works surprisingly well on my fair skin. I’m not super wild about the colors on the eye shadow pallette, but the quality is nice. Love the lip stick. I have not plaid with the nail polish or sea salt spray yet. This was a fun box tho. Glossy Box limited edition boxes tend to be really good. I loved the Christmas one!

After Liz’s review – I would have picked up this box if the $29 promotional price was still valid.

I can’t help but thinking that box is for very young moms
