One side of the information card lists all the items in the box. The other discusses major milestones for the box’s intended age.
EverEarth Wooden Shape Puzzle - $10.99
This is a great beginner puzzle for teaching shapes, colors and hand-eye coordination. This will make a great gift for a friend’s baby!
Tegu Magnetic Blocks with Pouch - $27.29
We are huge fans of Tegu blocks in my house! Even though they could easily be played with at a young age, my five year old son loves them too. These are so well made and last forever. I love the carrying case and beautiful colors.
Plan Toys Mini Bulldozer - $15
Another great brand, I love seeing Plan Toys in my subscription boxes! This bulldozer is very cute and will make a great gift to my friend who just had a baby boy.
Plan Toys Sort and Count Cups - $25
My daughter loves these sort and count cups! She loves putting the “coins” into the cups and taking them back out, stacking them into towers and sorting them by color. She’s starting to count too and these are perfect for that as well. I like that they are all kept organized in the cotton bag and that they aren’t made of plastic. I just want to note that all five colors of cups and coins were in my box, but my daughter was playing with them so I only grabbed blue and green for the photo!
Verdict: I was very impressed with the curation of Hoppi Box. I like that they send high quality full sized wooden toys from brands I know and respect for their sustainable practices. This is not a box of plastic junk you can get at the dollar store. I think boxes like this are more about curation, so I was pleasantly surprised that the value I came up with was $78. I am excited to see what they send next quarter!
