Umm, kinda confused. Are they selling this box for $29.99 & then giving $7off making it $22.99 or is it $22.99 & then $7 off of that?
Also, they didn’t raise their price yet again to $29.99 did they? Or is that the price for a 2nd box? So weird!

They are selling the may box for $29.99 (or $22.99 after coupon). That price is for a single box. There is an incentive to subscribe, lower price ($20/month). If they lowered the price for a single box I’m pretty sure current subscribers would get upset and unsubscribe.

It isn’t a luxe box but I think for $20 it’s a really fun box! There’s always a few things I like and the rest trade well 🙂

I don’t understand– why are they charging more for the box and calling it $7 off? And why do companies charge more for one-offs? It can be a bit frustrating. For example, I am an on and off subscriber to GlobeIn, because the boxes are truly hit or miss for me. But when they do have a box that suits me, I have to pay more to buy just the one. Maybe it’s plain economics, but it’s still frustrating.

I think there is something super cheesy about the parent company (13deals) and so who knows?

I expect to pay more for one off purchases. I mean, I see one of the benefits of subscribing is getting the subscription price.

I don’t know about this box but for GlobeIn you can always skip the ones you don’t like if you email them(I have a 6month and i’ve skipped 3months here and there). As for why they cost higher it’s probably because when you order a sub you are basically ordering ahead, especially for any longer than a month, and most expect you’ll continue for a bit.
It also probably takes more effort to put together the one box than a bunch of boxes at the same time so there’s also that.
Right now GlobeIn has a sale for some past boxes both on their shop page and on the add ons for a subscriber as well. Also the “sale” is because the normal price is 50 but subscribers get the discount for well subscribing 😉 A one off doesn’t have any guarantee of more purchases while the month to month you have to cancel and lot’s of people don’t like to bother with that.
Those are just my educated guesses but I hope they help 🙂 (sorry if it was a little circular there I have a headache and they mess w/ my concentration)
