Star Wars Smugglers Bounty Subscription Box Review May 2016 - patch and pin

Each delivery you'll get a collector patch and pin to the theme of the box. This month's theme is "Bounty Hunters", so we get a Boba Fett patch and Bossk pin!

Bounty Hunters Shirt - Value $10?

This month's shirt is a tribute to the bounty hunters, of course. I'm loving this shirt - I like the details involved, including the details about their weapons.

This is also the second Smuggler's Bounty in a row where the shirt doesn't feature POP versions of characters. I like this style much more!

Boba Fett Liftoff POP - Value $25-20 on POP Price Guide

There was a slight leak of this POP on social media a couple weeks ago which had everyone hopeful that this was, in fact, included in the box (it was all speculation to that point). I couldn't be more excited to see that it is one of the featured items this month - not to mention one of the coolest items in my collection.

There is fantastic detail everywhere on this POP. Of course, I love the "Liftoff" base. All Star Wars POPs come with a black circular base that you can remove you POP from if you choose to do so. I love what they've done with this base (similar to the Age of Ultron Iron Man POP) - and while the character can't be removed from the base - who would want to do that!

I had to get a rear shot of this POP to show off the job they did capturing the liftoff from the jetpack! More like this Funko!

Star Wars Smugglers Bounty Subscription Box Review May 2016 - ig-88 POP

IG-88 POP - Value $20-25 on POP Price Guide

The second POP, also the final item of the box, is this exclusive IG-88 POP! This assassin droid is really unique to my collection because it honestly doesn't have a typical Funko POP look at all. You'd probably expect the droid head to be at least twice the size that it is.

Here it is out of the box. Really cool design.

Verdict: This month is worth it for the Boba Fett Liftoff POP alone. I'm sure this will be a highly coveted POP in the collector world if they don't sell them in stores (does anyone know if these come available for purchase after a while?). Anytime I get two exclusive POPs in a box, there's no way that I'll be disappointed. Add a great shirt to that, and it's a can't-miss box for me.

I hope they continue to give more unique Pops. I LOVE the Boba Fett lift off… It’s different. I hope they don’t mass sell. But, I am sure profit will be the final determination factor

I love the style of the shirts. I hope they continue in this fashion. Im so happy with this box. I hope they stick with Pops rather than Dorbz or the other Funko lines.
