This is the information card that was included, detailing the package's contents. This month's theme is "Good vs. Evil."

I would be remiss in failing to mention that this is the April package, but I just received it this week. This has happened now three times in a row, so I'm beginning to think this is just one of those boxes you have to count on not receiving until the beginning of the next month. It's not a problem for me, but I know some people don't like that.

The Walking Dead Double-Sided Pillowcase - Value $10?

This pillowcase is awesome, and I don't even watch The Walking Dead! My sister is obsessed with it, though, so I think I will pass it on to her. This has the texture and size to make a good throw pillow (not a bed pillow).

The Walking Dead Charm Necklace - Value $15?

This necklace is hilarious! I'm actually wearing it today. The charms hit slightly below the throat.

Harry Potter Print - Value $2?

I am always glad when The Fan Empire includes things that my sons can enjoy, and the little one claimed this for his locker at school right away.

Supernatural FBI Magnet - Value $2.50?

Unfortunately, we don't know anything about Supernatural in my house, but a magnet's a magnet. Our fridge is starting to look pretty nerd-tastic with all these cool magnets! I just noticed the info card said we were supposed to get two, but we only got one. I will check in with customer service on this.

Harry Potter Dark Mark Tattoo - Value $1?

Does anyone know at what age children stop being obsessed with temporary tattoos? I'm guessing never? Anyway, this will go to good use, obviously.

fan-empire-apr-keychain

Supernatural Keychain - Value $7?

Even though we are not really into Supernatural, this is still a pretty cool keychain. My older son nabbed it for his collection.

VerdictThe Fan Empire is a really fun subscription! Even though I am guessing on all of these values, I feel like the value MUST far outstrip the $18.45 purchase price of this box. I felt like the theme this month was kind of weak since good vs. evil is pretty much the foundation of all storytelling throughout history, but it was a nice way to include items from several different fandoms.

Thanks for the head’s up! This review didn’t really ‘wow’ me in terms of what the box included so I’m not entirely sure if I’ll be subscribing or not but I LOVE that they have a box for each house. It’s annoying when boxes have Harry Potter themes and then strictly include Gryffindor.

Are zombies considered evil? I thought it was more of a disease than character flaw.

That’s funny right there! 🙂

Supernatural has a huge fandom. I loved the first 6 seasons but kinda fell out of watching it. Very basic overview of the show is two very handsome brothers fighting demons and monsters. I really think this box looks great. I don’t need any more boxes but I might try this one out. I’ve been slowly working thru all the geek boxes-lootcrate, nerd block horror, nerd block jr, and lootcrate anime. Cancelled all of those when I realized I was gifting almost every item in every box. Fandom Empire really seems to have more items that are female friendly and not so many crazy items you’ll never use.
