I just subscribed to this box, this will be my second to receive. I love stationery for no reason at all! I do think they could be tailored more to the holiday of the month, such as a father’s day or mother’s day themed card. Maybe not specifically a “Happy Mother’s Day” but something that could be used for this occasion if chosen to.

I have to disagree with the comments on this one. I think sometimes a lot of the cards are automatically assumed to be SO cards but I think they can be used for friends and “just because” cards. For example, the being apart card, I think i will send that to my friend who doesn’t live in the same state as i do anymore to just say, “hey, i’m thinking about you and i miss you. Hope you’re doing well”. Maybe we just need to be a little more creative with them? I also sub to Studio Calico’s stationary box and it is so good. They have really creative cards that you don’t find in stores and i believe they’re the parent company for Happy Mail.

If they’d so 2-3 birthday cards and a thank you I’d subscribe forever. But i cancelled. 🙁 I gave some of the lovey cards to my kids (who can’t read yet) and the hubs but seriously if i have to buy birthday cards anyway I’m just gonna spend that money at Target because I can’t justify $40 on cards every month. I have a hug box of happy mail cards i really can’t give to anyone but my husband and one card a week is a bit of overkill.

Once again, for me, the Messy Box looks great and the Happy Mail box is rather meh and uninspiring.

Love the Palm Beach-y colors of this month’s Happy Mail (there’s only ever been one month I didn’t like since the beginning) but I finally gave up my subscription. Just this month, it looks like there are at least 4 SO cards. Even though people have made numerous requests to limit those, here and on their website, they just don’t seem to be “getting it.” I need more birthday cards and more Thank you’s!!!! It also bothered me that a lot of the SO cards (not all, but many) seemed heteronormative. I’m sad to let my subscription go, but I’m hoping they can make some positive tweaks.

I totally agree with you! I’ve been a pretty loyal fan for a while but it’s getting harder and harder to justify the sub since now I’m finding myself running to the Target dollar spot for super cute Bday and Thank You cards pretty much every month!
