Fandora's Box Subscription Box Review May 2016 - all items

Fandora's Box Subscription Box Review May 2016 - card front

This month's theme was Comic Legends - so I knew it would be an ideal theme for myself. It definitely followed through.

Fandora's Box Subscription Box Review May 2016 - card back

On the back, you'll find the remainder of the items in the box, with details.

Fandora's Box Subscription Box Review May 2016 - bobbblhead

(apologies for the blurry image, I should learn not to tear apart the box before looking at the image 🙂 )

Iron Man Hero Remix Bobblehead - Value $34.99

This box was huge - and this was why. We had just received an Ultron Hero Remix bobblehead in the latest Lootaku - so I knew what to expect (and was excited) when I saw the box!

Fandora's Box Subscription Box Review May 2016 - iron man bobblehead

Here is Iron Man in all his glory. One thing that sticks out to me is that the paint job is really well done on these. As much as I like Funko POPs, their paint jobs can be hit or miss.

Fandora's Box Subscription Box Review May 2016 - daredevil dorbz

Daredevil Dorbz - Value $9.77 on Amazon

They included a Daredevil Dorbz figure from the Netflix series. Somehow, I don't own any POPs from the series yet - but now I have a Dorbz and Pocket POP. Time to add to the collection!

Here is the Man Without Fear close up.

Fandora's Box Subscription Box Review May 2016 - pocket pop

Black Panther Pocket POP - Value $8.99 on Amazon

We get a Black Panther Pocket POP as well! I've (finally) seen Civil War about 4 weeks too late - and loved it. Black Panther was as good as I had hoped, so I was excited to unbox this.

Here's a close up. I always unscrew the keychain so that I can display them on a shelf.

Fandora's Box Subscription Box Review May 2016 - batmobile

Batmobile Hot Wheels - Value $9.99

Hot Wheels has recently come out with a line of Batmobiles celebrating this awesome vehicle in its many forms. This one is from the early 90's Batman with Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson.

It's got a lot of great details - including a hatch that slides forward to reveal the interior.

Here it is from the side with the hatch open.

Fandora's Box Subscription Box Review May 2016 - the killing joke

The Killing Joke - Value $10.16 on Amazon

This is the deluxe, hardback, version of the classic Batman comic - The Killing Joke. This is a must read for all Batman fans. While I already own this, I was excited to see such a classic in a box - everyone should read this! On a related note - who out there is SUPER excited for the animated Killing Joke movie in August?!

Verdict: This was an amazing send off for one of the most promising boxes of this year. I'm sad to see it go - it was one of those boxes that I got really excited to see in our mail stack. I hope you got to enjoy a month or two of this box like me while it was still around!

This was my favorite box and I was so excited to receive it too! I only got this months and last month’s box and they were both amazing. So sad to see them go 🙁

Sarah

This was my favorite subscription box (my husband’s too, I had to wait until we were together to open it). I’m super sad that they closed down. We only enjoyed 2 months as well. Thanks Eric for introducing us to this box while it lasted!

Their box last month was one of my favorite boxes ever! I’m so sad they went out of business 2 boxes after I discovered them! 🙁
