The June/July box theme is Blueberry Peach Cobbler! The August/September box theme will be Pink Lemonade.
The packaging on this box is always really nice. The items come wrapped in tissue paper with a fruity ribbon and sticker holding it all together. There is also usually one item that comes wrapped in wrapping paper - so fun!
Blueberry Lip Balm - $2.75
This lip balm smells like luscious blueberries and is made from beeswax, coconut oil, olive oil, vitamin E oil, flavor oil, and stevia. I found it to be very moisturizing and emollient.
Peach Shampoo and Conditioner - $12.00
I'm using the value listed on the information sheet for this one, since I can't find the exact items. I think the value might be inflated a bit here, but these are a really nice size sample shampoo and conditioner. These will be going into my guest bathroom for my guests to use, because they're 1 oz. over what I can take on a plane for travel. I did use them to try them out, and I found that they're a decent quality shampoo and conditioner, but it's not going to make you feel like this. The scent is nice!
Ooooh what do we have here? Presents to open! Yay!
Blueberry Peach Shortcake Pedicure Kit - $6.99
This is such a cute idea! I love this and will probably purchase some to use as little gifts for parties and such. The scent I received was absolutely out of this world delicious smelling. I'm usually not one for scented lotions - this is my go to that I very rarely stray from, and when I do stray, I regret it. But this stuff? Amazing. It was so moisturizing and smelled outstanding. I did use the whole kit, but I'm not going to show you pictures of my tootsies. The reason? I used one of these a week ago and I, mistakenly, thought that using pedicure stuff would get ALLL the nastiness off after I started peeling. The job was a bit too tough. The takeaway? Buy these but don't use them on peeling feet - they're not going to work miracles but they'll cut your pedicure bill quite a bit!
Fused Stained Glass Trinket Dish Tray - $12.00
This was my wrapped present this month! I love gifts, which is why I am a subscription box addict. This is a really pretty trinket dish. Since I've started with sub boxes, I've received quite a few trinket dishes. This one will match my office perfectly! As far as value goes, I am using the amount on the info sheet here again, since this tray is not branded.
Peach Cotton Candy - $3.00
This was delicious. The peach flavor was light but still there. I love cotton candy, it's one of those things that can always take you back to a happier time! Who can eat cotton candy and still be sad?
Blueberry Basket Flour Sack Dish Towel - $15.00
Seriously, how cute is this? And the rest of the shop is just as cute! I love the towel, it feels super nice and the print is adorable. I also love that the basket it comes in is very sturdy - I plan to re-appropriate that for sure!
Verdict: I really enjoyed this box from Fruit for Thought! It was very well curated and I enjoyed everything. There really was something for everyone: the snack was pretty safe for food allergies, the pedicure kit, shampoo/conditioner and lip balm are perfect for beauty lovers, and the towel and trinket dish are perfect for the home! If you're interested in trying this box, but don't want to make the full commitment yet, you should definitely check out the mini subscription.
