HangSquad is a subscription service that sends two pairs of earrings per month. Subscribers answer a short questionnaire in order to receive the pairs best suited to them. I love mystery earrings!

This box was sent to us for review purposes. (Check out our review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

This is the only literature that was included this month, letting me know which styles they had chosen for me.

My earrings both came in these cute little gift bags.

June's Funky & Fun - Value $6

These little earrings are so cute, and totally my style with the tassels! I don't think I have any earrings with threaded tassels like this! I put these on right away. The value listed above is for subscribers only, so it's a little misleading. I'm not sure what the full retail value might be.

June's Classic Beauty - Value $6

These earrings are also quite pretty! I like them! They're very lightweight, but still have some size to them.

Verdict: I enjoyed my first package from HangSquad! I think the earrings they sent me are current and pretty, and they are not so valuable that I will be sad if I lose or damage them. You'd be surprised how often that happens! I think the subscriber-only values here are probably less than what you might pay at a retail store, and I don't think $15 is too much for these two pairs of earrings. I'm fine with the value. I can't wait to see what comes next month from HangSquad!

I would love to see a subscription that only offered pierced earrings with titanium findings. I have six piercings in each ear, but a metal sensitivity. Even the standard sterling silver, surgical steel, and high-karat gold posts cause me issues.

AH

I’m so sorry you have a metal sensitivity. I also have one, but I’m allergic to titanium as well and I had an ortho implant that needed to be removed. Sterling and high karat gold are it for me for jewelry. Metal allergies/sensitivities truly are a problem that can cause all kinds of issues but it is rarely ever talked about. Just so I say something about a box, I think this is super fun and reasonable. Can you request any special metals be excluded? With the price being so inexpensive, I doubt there will be surgical steel or sterling.
