I tried these with the popsugar promo they had sometime in the last six months (can’t remember which month it was that had a coupon for a free box). I ended up throwing the entire box away because after many different attempts, I could not get a single one to come out of the applicator when using. I think they are seriously flawed. I even emailed the company to let them know and they emailed me back telling me how to use them correctly (not helpful, I know how to use a tampon). They simply did not work.

Yes. I had a few from each box, and the rest were difficult to get “out.” Plus they were terrible quality (aka leaking, etc). Not recommended.

Yeah, they are pretty awful. You have to push the little plunger past when it wants to stop and it kind of clicks. HOWEVER, it is difficult and awkward and every single time I have done it I have pinched myself…and I’m not talking about on my fingers. So not worth it.

Thank you for posting this. I have tried many brands/styles over the years (as we all have, I’m sure), and nothing comes close to Tampax Pearl for me. It’s the only one that ever inserts exactly right every single time (for me).

BTW, there is a special on the site with no code for 2 boxes of 18 for just $9. I still went with the one box though, 18 is good enough for me for now. 🙂 They also let you chose the quantity of each size so it’s alot more customized than other boxes like this.
