Ridley Games Who Am I? - Value $13

POPSUGAR is the best at finding games that have great packaging design! (See also the Bingo set from the November 2015 POPSUGAR Must Have Box.)

How gorgeous are these cards?

FullSizeRender (22)

The game is simple enough - you start reading out the clues for a person, and see who can guess first. (Points vary depending on how many clues you need to get the right answer.)

FullSizeRender (23)

It's a compact game and seems like it should work well for all ages.

FullSizeRender (11)

Hat Attack Neutral Diamond-Printed Sarong - Value $58

This sarong measures 42 inches by 78 inches, and it is 100% cotton, and super lightweight! This was the spoiler item for the box, and POPSUGAR sent out an email with different ways to style it:

unnamed (3)

It looks great on the model, but I think I'm going to being using this as a scarf only!

FullSizeRender (10)

The neutral colors make this super versatile for me, too. Here it is on:

(We could not get Buckles to look at the camera!)

FullSizeRender (15)

Pacifica Underarm Deodorant Wipes - Value $9

These wipes seem like the perfect summer travel item! They're really refreshing, and if you like coconut scents, I'm pretty sure you will love these.

FullSizeRender (17)

NCLA Born on the 4th Nail Lacquer - Value $16

I love that they included a 4th of July item in the June box - plenty of time ahead! You can wear this alone with a few layers, or apply it as a fun top coat. Here is one swatch so you can see the glitter coverage:

Pressels Sriracha - Value $1.29

Well, the tradition of POPSUGAR finding the best snacks continues! I couldn't sample these because I avoid gluten but my husband Eric is always happy to help taste testing with POPSUGAR boxes! He took one bite and immediately said "Fantastic!"

FullSizeRender (21)

Now we just have to figure out where to buy more of these!

FullSizeRender (19)

Sisters of Los Angeles Cheers Gold Bottle Opener - Value $12

We're not in need of any more bottle openers, but I have a soft spot for all things gold, so this will go into the rotation!

FullSizeRender (13)

Knock Knock Are You Ready (For Your Close-up?) Compact - Value $10

This compact mirror has a regular side and a magnified side:

FullSizeRender (12)

This is one of those items I'm not particularly excited about, but I'll throw it in my purse and I know I'll use it.

Verdict: This box has a retail value of about $119. At first glance at the spoilers I wasn't too excited about this box (with the exception of the sarong), but after trying all the items, I know I'll use everything, and I really love my new sarong(scarf)! I think the theme on this box is a little harder to detect than in some of their other boxes, but in general, it seems like a good box for summer travel/fun.

I was not impressed with this box at all! I can’t exactly put my finger on why, but I just didn’t like it. I have no use for the nail polish or mirror. I have a million scarves/sarongs already. The game….not something anyone I know would play.

The only item I actually liked was the bottle opener – its fancier than anything we have to it will be good for entertaining and hopefully won’t get lost!

This is just a great box and a great value. I almost never love everything in the box, but what I don’t love, I can give away and that’s fun too.

My last two boxes have arrived as if they were packed by throwing the items from a great distance into the box. Everything was a jumbled mess with the card in the middle, sticker out of whack, tissue and bubble wrap kind of shoved into each box, rather than being wrapped. I was happy to see that this one arrived packed nicely.

I loved the game (have already used it on a road trip), loved the sarong/scarf and loved the deodorant wipes (which I didn’t even realize were a thing, but have them in my gym bag and will never go without them again). I wasn’t as crazy about the bottle opener or the mirror, but I will give those away.

Hey, it may not be THE most exciting PSMH box of all time but I really liked it once I got it… All great and useful summer items! Yeah you could go get them yourself but I’m a person who doesn’t have time or who just won’t go do that, so I love it when I get these boxes! #boxfreak #subboxlife

This the first month of my sub, I got in on the discount deal but am purposefully ignoring the may box. The sarong/scarf is lovely but the compact? Looks more like a freebie for ipsy. Hopefully it will get better or this is a one and done for me.

I was really excited when I saw the spoilers b/c I saw the pacifica wipes at Target and wanted to try them for after workouts. When I saw they were going to be in this box I held off on purchasing. I was disappointed when I finally received the box and my Pacifica wipes were a horrible coconut milk and kale extract (heavy on the kale) that smelled terrible. 🙁 Since my box usually ships later in the month, It makes me wonder if they ran out of the first round of wipes and had to sub the second scent. Anyone else receive this scent?

Reply ButtonReply

Orlee

I got the same kale one. It’s… not good. I love the idea of the wipes but the acrid scent of the coconut/kale made it impossible to try!

Reply ButtonReply

Randi

I just got my box on Friday and received the same scent as Liz from what I can tell anyways… coconuty. But I do remember seeing a comment somewhere about someone else getting the kale scent (they didn’t like the kale smell either) – maybe it was on the PSMH June Full Spoilers comments?

Those pressels are amazing! Anyone know where to get the sriracha flavor? I’ve looked on Amazon and their website but they don’t have this flavor listed. I need more!!!

Reply ButtonReply

So glad I cancelled after this box…..used to love, love, love getting my PSMH every month. No longer. This box did it for me – I pulled the plug. Truly I ended up with a scarf & a bottle opener. The rest – not appealing in the slightest. Taking the game to work & leaving it in the break room, along with the polish & the dollar store mirror. Really disappointed.

Finally gave in and read the review even though they are all spoilers for me ! Everything is great and I wish I had it in my hands! My biggest gripe with popsugar is the slow shipping !!! I received the email that they were thrilled to inform me my box was on the way 2 weeks ago! It’s scheduled to be delivered this coming Monday. I go on vacation Saturday. Extremely disappointed I won’t have these items for vacation. Would have loved that game on the road trip. Frustrated.

Anna

I always avoid the spoilers too. I have never had a PopSugar box that disappoints. Some as aren’t as exciting as others but I will use everything in the box, either to keep or gift. My favorite sub box every month!

Reply ButtonReply

Erika

I went spoiler free and received this box just before a cookout on Saturday. It was perfect! I used the sarong as a tablecloth for the drink table (but love your idea about the scarf-clever!!) The bottle opener is awesome and used to open drinks all day. I put the pretzels out with other chips and dips. The wipes were set outside for guest to use because it was crazy hot. I sat the game out too but I don’t think it is my style. I loved the box and felt it was put together really well.

Kim

I forced myself not to look at spoilers to see if I would get excited! I love the sarrong and will use it as a scarf too. The color is great because it is a neutral. I wish they would put directions on how this could be tied in different ways.
Game is new ! Will give it as gift to younger college kids…….myself I’m a bingo gal. Anyone want to trade a bingo game from pop sugar? I gifted one at Christmas white elephant and it was a hit. Now wish I had one. Pretzels will be swapped. I’m gluten free. Bottle opener is a nice size so I won’t lose it. Will put it on the boat !
Mirror is useful and something to put in purse. Like the large side !!!!!! Nail polish is fun! This is something I wouldn’t buy and will try it for the fourth! Will travel with the wipes. Clever box for summer.

carey

I have a bingo set untouched if you are interested, I already had the card game from this box though….

Reply ButtonReply

Kimberley

I am still interested in the bingo game.

Leah

I’ve actually seen the same bingo set on sale at Target! It’s in the novelty section near the greeting cards.

Sayuri

Oh boy! when did this sub become so boring? I don’t like anything but the sarong which I will also use as a scarf (but I have enough of those already). Secondly, IMHO, makeup items and edibles should stay out of a lifestyle box (just saying).

I’m moving and I had cancelled the subscription with a plan to do a 6-month starting in June today but I have to say I’m really not excited by this box. I think I’d use some of the items and would have been ok getting it but I don’t know…

The sarong/scarf does look cute though!

ChereK

I had just tried to find a bottle opener in my kitchen the other day!!!!
Definitely a better box in hand than in pictures!!!!!!

After I got my box, I found that I liked it much better than it looked like it was going to be! I love the sarong as a scarf/shawl. … It came today, I had been sick for most of the day. My 15 yr old son and I had fun playing with the game – even though we were slightly silly. We generally had a good time together. Makes the box priceless!

Danielle

I got my box today and went spoiler-free so I would be surprised when I opened it. I was somewhat underwhelmed – I even thought something was missing, and checked the insert, but nope.

I think the little mirror is cute and so is the bottle opener. I don’t really see myself using the sarong and I have too many scarves to use it as that.

The 4th of July polish is cute, but I don’t love it because I will only get one use out of it all year. The wipes smell good and I’ll use them, but they’re obviously not exciting.

Reply ButtonReply

Kimberli

The polish would also work for memorial day and veterans day

Reply ButtonReply

Tamara

My box came today and I think I like it! I definitely like the sarong. SO pretty!! And it easily wraps around me, which I was a little concerned about. It’s really light, but I think that’s appropriate for its summery purpose.

The game is less fun than I had hoped and I’ll certainly be putting the polish up for swap. But I misplaced the compact I kept in my purse, so that’s handy, and I imagine the wipes also be useful.

Thank God, I love the sarong. Otherwise, this box would have been a bust.

Mailbox Junkie

I know I am in the minority but this is my fav PSMH box of the whole year! Also, we love seeing pics of you, Liz!!

Reply ButtonReply

Katie

Me too!! I LOVED it!!

Just got my box, and while I must say I wasn’t completely happy when I saw the spoilers, seeing the actual box really made me happy! I love the sarong! It isn’t something I would purchase myself just looking at the price but having it part of this box was super! I needed one badly for going to the pool, and I will definitely get a lot of use out of it! The nail polish is great and something I will be using on my toes for an extra sparkle! The underarm wipes have good reviews, so I’m looking forward to using those. The compact will go in my beach bag and the Pressels look delicious. I love they include snacks I wouldn’t normally purchase but able to try them. The only two items I’m not too crazy about is the bottle opener (but something I need since we don’t have one…how is that?) and the game, which will go into my gift bag (gifts to give out!). Overall, it was a pretty nice selection and I love it all!

This was my last box. I honestly think I could go to TJ Maxx & put together better boxes for far less $. I may ordr the special edition boxes, but that’s it for me.

Oh! Forgot to mention, great pic of you & your pup!

the best part of this review was the picture of you Liz. You are stunning. (and of course we love Buckles)

I was a bit disappointed when I first saw the reviews….but after opening this box I love it! The sarong even fits my 2XL large and in charge behind! Or I can wear it as a scarf! The game will be fun for games around the holidays, wipes always come in handy! And the best part….the mirror…I can now pluck my chin hairs much easier in the car…when I feel that super corse black one that sprouted up from no where! Well done Popsugar! Also the nail polish is fun for the 4th! And you and Buckles look great Liz!!

Reply ButtonReply

Moe

? where do those dang hairs come from?!? I swear I will check one day and there’s nothing and then boom the next day a #%^*% quarter inch long hair is dangling from my chin . ?

I’ll be using that sarong as a wrap. Just about every dress I own is black and it’ll make a nice contrast

Sonia

“the mirror…I can now pluck my chin hairs much easier in the car” – exactly my reaction! LOL!

I would love this box! It’s got a ton of useful, fun items for me. Someday you will be mine Popsugar. Someday.

I cancelled after my 6 month subscription from December, (and the double December boxes, arrrgh still irritated) ran out, and I have to say I am a happy camper. I might try and get the card set on a swap, it looks like fun. PopSugar will have to go a long way to win me back.

CJ

I completely agree. I cancelled in January and happy I did.
I will stick with the FabFitFun box for my big monthly (or quarterly) subscription box.

Gabi

I’m looking to swap (or sell) my whole box. Here’s my swap profile if anyone’s interested! https://swap.mysubscriptionaddiction.com/user/99/profile
