Good to Know: This package typically comes well past the end of the month. It doesn't bother me, but I know that's an issue for some people.

May's theme is Hogwart's House Pride! In the weeks before this package was sent, The Fan Empire Reached out to subscribers to ask which Harry Potter House you liked best, and we picked Ravenclaw!

Ravenclaw Tie - Value $21.95 (link is to a similar tie)

My ten-year-old son loves this tie! It's really well-made, too. In fact, When I was taking pictures of my mail the other day, my husband was walking past and I told him he got a new tie (from a different box). He came in and grabbed this tie and said, "Whoa! That's really cool!" Haha! I had to explain to him about the crest, etc., before he put it back down...

Ravenclaw Beanie - Value $6

My son also loved this beanie, and is anxious to wear it this winter! It is a little tough to give kids a present they can't wear for six months, though.

Hogwarts Crest Magnet - Value $2?

My whole family is loving gradually replacing our magnet collection on the fridge with fun pop culture magnets. Thanks Fan Empire!

Hogwarts Crest Ring - Value $1.42

Finally, a ring masculine enough for my little fanboys to wear! This ring is super adjustable, for older kids and adults alike.

Ravenclaw Charm Keychain - Value $8 (link is to a similar item)

At some point, my eight-year-old son's backpack will be so weighted down with keychains that he will be unable to move it, but for now, this was a welcome addition!

Verdict: This package from The Fan Empire was a big win for us! My sons are both huge Harry Potter fans, and this month, everything was gender neutral! Hooray! The value this month was around $40, which is amazing for a $18 box! What a great box!

Ravenclaw here, too. Now I just need to find or make a gray pleated skirt and I’m pretty much set for Halloween.

The shipping delays on this box really bug me. I knew from reading your reviews that it would pretty much always be late before I signed up, so I guess I shouldn’t be that annoyed, but the website still states boxes will ship between the 25th and 30th of the month. As far as I know, that has never happened. Not to mention that they bill on the 1st of the month, so there’s about a six week delay between being charged for the box and it arriving. If they’d just skip the next billing cycle on July 1st and call the next box to ship July’s instead of June’s I feel like everything would sort itself out.

I chose the Ravenclaw box as well. The only problem I had was the Ravenclaw house crest on the tie has terrible coloring.
