HH - Lotus Blossom Soy Candle (9oz) - $18.00

Lotus Blossom is part of HH’s Yogi Candle Line.  They are named after yoga poses and have a yoga-inspired reference under the lid.  The scent is much sweeter than the Aloe+Tea candle I received last month.  I found that this scent doesn’t carry throughout a large room as well as last month’s candle either.  I plan on using this one exclusively in the master bath.  I also noticed that this candle burns much faster.  I’m already half way through after roughly 15+ hours of use. But honestly, I wasn’t timing myself, so I could be wrong.

HH - Hey Hot Mama Matchbook Pair - $4.00

These matches are super cute.  I haven’t used them yet and I don’t think I will.  I think they would pair well in a gift for a young or new mommy.

Verdict:  This month, The Handmade Habitat Candle Subscription had an estimated retail value of $22.00!  And it’s the same value I estimated last month.  I appreciate the consistency, but I truly believe a second or higher valued “treat” needs to be added to this subscription to push the retail value above the cost of the service.  Overall, we are all enjoying the new candles each month and look forward unboxing another great smelling candle in our box next month.

Hmmmmm I had considered this sub after seeing that one of the candles was one of your favorite items for April. But the price seems to be a tad bit high for what you get. I think I’ll pass for now.
