Since I'm a consistent black coffee drinker, we decided to try out the $1 trial offer from Amora Coffee. This was my first time trying the Amora Coffee subscription and bean in general.

The bag is good for multiple cups of coffee. In their default subscription terms, you'd be receiving 1 half-pound bag of Amora Coffee per week - so this is the exact size you'd receive each week. I think this might work for a single coffee drinker, but in a multiple coffee drinker household/office, you might need to upgrade.

My biggest issue with the bag was that it wasn't resealable. Typically, you'd have tabs on each side to close the bag after use. I resorted to simply using a rubber band - which is fine, but I thought it was unusual to not easily reseal these days.

I used this bean to make a batch of cold brew coffee in my Bespoke Post: Concentrate review. The coffee turned out delicious - smooth and not bitter at all - I really loved the taste overall. It was excellent in a hot brew as well, carrying the same consistency.

Verdict: Overall, I thought the bean was delicious. Though I must admit, I'm not a huge coffee critic, though I drink a lot of it. I drink my coffee black, so when I get something really bitter or watered down tasting, it's immediately noticeable - and the Amora bean didn't have that for me. Their website leaves me wanting, though - having to manage preferences and frequency over the phone is not ideal after buying online.

I tried it and it was a nightmare, I paid with a debit card and even after I changed my debit card they got my checking account information and continued to send me coffee the only way they could have done that is through publishers clearing house when I paid my bill to them by check.

I tried this out. Be aware, you need to cancel before 14 days. they charged me (with shipping) $67 for 2 lbs of coffee. and I cancelled on day 13. They said they already shipped it

I almost tried it… until I saw the price per lb along with too many people saying that even with canceling they were still charged. Bummer! Great review though!

YIKES! $67. for two pounds of coffee? I would have refused the shipment; there is no reason for that pricing…
