Just got my box and wowsa, so glad I didn’t back down when I saw the extra $6 for shipping. I had 9 products with doubles of 2 so 11 total yay! (Not sure if there were supposed to be doubles but it sure did brighten my day?) My total came up to $78…so happy wish I could get another with the new code. But that’s unlikely?

I probably got the same box I have 2 lip balms and 2 Kinky Moves. I added mine up to be about $78 as well, I’m glad I jumped on this offer too. I just hope the boxes continue to impress me.

Yep, those were my doubles. I couldn’t believe there were at least 4 full size products; plus I suspected that some that were not listed as full size like the lip balms and the eye-shadow were also full size. Here’s a breakdown of what I got:

1. Dark and love au natursle s.o.s scalp treatment – 4 oz full size – $8.99
2. Two (2) deluxe samples of not your mothers kinky moves curl defining hair cream – 1.5 oz each – value $3.50 total
3. Shea Radiance moisturizing hair milk – 8 oz full size – $16
4. Smart skin perfecting polisher – deluxe sample 0.27 oz- $7.50 ( was surprised at the value)
5. Creme of nature argan oil mousse – 7 oz full size – $8.79
6. Creme of nature argan oil perfect edge -2.25 oz full size- $4.50
7. Two (2) imbued lip balms – I strongly suspect to be full size 0.15 oz each – $3 each – $6 total
8. Manna kadar fantasy 3 -in-1 eye shadow – full size? – $19?
9. Jane Carter slumber party creamy leave-in conditioner – deluxe sample 2 oz – value $2.50 ( this was one of three alternatives the other two being the detox shampoo and the revive and repair hair mask.

Much respect to curlkit for not skimping on a $4 box. I’m officially, completely and totally no longer upset about the extra $6 shipping (though they should have been a bit more transparent and put a note about it in the promotion). I would love, love, love to get a second one for my mom and grandma to split and so they can experience the unboxing for themselves but if that doesn’t materialize this box does have enough to split three ways.

I got an email that this deal is still going on ~ $4 plus shipping until Saturday. Use code SAVE80.

I remember reading some comments aboit curl kit being hard to cancel/having not great billing practices. Does anyone have experience with that?

I didn’t experience any problems earlier this year when I had to cancel my monthly subscription because I had decided to purchase a 6-month subscription to take advantage of their 30% off offer. CS replied by the next day, and confirmed the cancellation of my monthly subscription. I also never experienced any billing issues.

I agree they should have said, “plus shipping”, but $10 ($4 box + $6 shipping) is still a good deal considering the variety of products you’d receive. Plus, they always include at least a couple of full-sized items (usually more), and their boxes have never been able to close properly because there’s always so much product in them! At least, that’s been my experience since I started my subscription earlier this year.

I have to admit, it is interesting the shipping is $6, because it’s usually only $5.

As I was attempting to place my order, the cost of the kit showed as $20 + $5 Shipping, less $21, making the cost $4, then the additional $6 shipping was added. Could someone who buys this kit tell me if this is the usual practice?

I think it’s hard to say, because I don’t think they do deals like this too often (charging a specific amount as the reduced price of the box). Rather, I think they usually do percentages off of boxes. But, that’s just with my brief experience with the boxes and looking at a couple of past offers from last year too, so I could be wrong.

I did purchase my 6-month subscription when they were offering a 30% discount on boxes earlier this year, which totaled $105 ($150 – 30%). The $150 totals the regular price of $20 + $5 shipping. The discounted price brought the boxes down to $17.50/box, and I attempted to do some calculations, but it’s actually hard to say if the $5 shipping stayed the same (bringing the box down to $12.50 (a 37.5% discount off of the $20/box price), or if both the box & shipping was discounted (which I think is the case). My head hurts now.

But, at least I can say I did get 30% off what I would have been paying normally.

There is a $6 handling fee which I am not happy about. They should say that upfront.

When I try to sign up for this it’s adding on an additional $6 shipping fee. is that correct? Please advise.

Nicky

Probably so. Curlkit added a shipping fee last year I believe. So, you will pay that in addition to the $4.
