The Box: GlobeIn Limited Edition Jewelry box

The Cost: $70 (or $50 for GlobeIn Subscribers)

The Products: The Jewelry Box was designed in collaboration with Tribe Alive. All the pieces are made from brass.

Please note: Jewelry Box is separate from the Artisan Box and Benefit Basket subscriptions. All GlobeIn subscribers have a chance to purchase it for $50 instead of $70 regular retail price!

The box comes with a flat basket great for storing jewelry, or other small items. I love all these basket variations from GlobeIn!

GlobeinJewelry-042

Palm Leaf Pouch - Value $12

Now, on to the jewelry!

GlobeinJewelry-023

I am such a fan of delicate jewelry - this collection is perfect for me.

GlobeinJewelry-052

Tribe Alive Duo Ring - Value $25

This brass piece is adjustable - which is great because otherwise, this style of ring would have resulted in muffin-top of the finger!

GlobeinJewelry-053

I love the simple design of this piece - it can be worn with so many different styles.

Here it is on with the bracelet:

And here is a better look at the bracelet:

Tribe Alive Wave Cuff - Value $32

Another adjustable piece! I feel like this limited edition box collection could work for so many different people/styles. (Then again, I love simple jewelry design, so I could be a bit biased!)

GlobeinJewelry-055

Crescent Stud Earrings - Value $32

More gorgeousness! These measure about 1/2 inch across at the widest part. Again, I love how everything goes together with the brass material.

GlobeinJewelry-035

Token Pendant Necklace - Value $35

This is a 14k gold filled chain, 32 inches in length, with a brass pendant. Here it is on:

This piece is great on its own, or could be layered for lots of different styles. It's another classic piece to me!

And this box also comes with a smaller jewelry pouch:

Handwoven Pouch, Guatemala (Retail $18). Colors will vary.

Verdict: This box has a value of about $147. I think that's a great value for the $50 cost of the box for subscribers. The jewelry pieces alone are definitely worth $50 to me, and the pouch and basket are nice extras!

I think this is a great limited edition box from GlobeIn, and I hope they do more like this in the future.

I love all these pieces! I’m not a subscriber so I would be paying $70. Does the jewelry feel durable and solid or is it like cheap Charming Charlie stuff?

i really like this box and everything in it from the ring to the basket to the pouch and all the other pieces. I really like Globein boxes but they are just a little costly right now.

The pouch is gorgeous! What would I use it for? I really want the necklace and like the bracelet, but the other pieces would need to be for swaps only for personal reasons (don’t wear rings or earrings).

Really like everything in this box, but I hesitate with brass jewelry. Looks beautiful now, but it will tarnish. Does anyone know if delicate brass jewelry is easy to care for over time? Will it retain it’s beauty when polished, like silver? Polished brass usually has a darker toned yellow than this, so I wonder if it will keep the same color. Or is it just the lighting?

Instructions from GlobeIn :

Care instructions (for all jewelry included):

Do you like an aged, patina look to your brass jewelry, or prefer it to always be bright and shiny? If shiny is your thing, periodically soak all the pieces in this box in a mixture of water and lemon juice for five minutes, then rinse thoroughly and dry.

Do they do the jewelry boxes often? I can’t afford this one right now but I love it!

This is their first one, but I hope it won’t be the last! I didn’t order because it isn’t in my budget this month. If it is still available next month, I might!
