This month’s box features everything you need to make and serve some great island-inspired drinks!
The Pineapple Co. Copper Pineapple Shot Glass Set- $35
The Pineapple Co. Large Copper Pineapple Tumbler- $99
When I started unwrapping these items, they definitely looked familiar!
One of this month’s Bespoke Post boxes included a set of smaller tumblers from The Pineapple Co., and I experienced some major box envy when I read Liz’s review. I’m so excited to have my own set of pineapple barware!
My box included a set of copper pineapple shot glasses and a large copper pineapple tumbler. (This is definitely the summer of the pineapple; they’ve been popping up everywhere in subscription boxes lately!)
The top of each piece can be flipped over and used as a base.
The large 3-piece tumbler includes a copper straw.
Here’s the tumbler with the lid being used as a base.
Drinks can also be served with the lid on (there’s a hole for the straw punched into the top of the tumbler).
Don Q Rum Mini Sampler- $7.92
I also received a selection of mini rum bottles from Puerto Rico’s Don Q. The set includes: Cristal, Gold, Pasión (passionfruit rum), Limón (key lime rum), and Coco (coconut rum).
Envy Sparkling Juice in Fruit Punch and Tropic Orange- $2.15
These sparkling fruit juices were included because they mix really well with rum. Both flavors are delicious— the Fruit Punch is kind of like a more restrained, grownup sparkling Hawaiian Punch.
Melissa's Sugar Cane Swizzle Sticks- $6.50
Sugar cane sticks can be used to garnish and stir cocktails or as kebab skewers.
Robb Vices included a recipe for Classic Island Rum Punch. I couldn’t wait to break in my new pineapple tumbler, so I decided to give it a try!
The recipe called for: Envy Fruit Punch, unsweetened pineapple juice, and a mini bottle of rum. I didn’t have any pineapple juice on hand, so I substituted watermelon juice. I garnished the drink with watermelon, lime, and a sugar cane swizzle stick.
The punch was delicious, and drinking it out of the pineapple tumbler was a hoot!
Verdict: This Robb Vices box was incredible! I love the set of pineapple shot glasses and the large pineapple tumbler, and I think it’s so much fun that Robb Vices included everything I needed to make Island Punch. What a perfect summer box! The value is great, too.
The retail value of the items in this box comes to $150, which is excellent!
Have you tried Robb Vices? What do you think of the luxuries they sent subscribers this month?
