Threads-description card

Each Threads Monthly box comes with a description card. The card lists the items given along with prices. This month's theme is The Keys to Summer, clever title.

Threads-product1

Emoji Necklace- $12.00

This is a cute necklace, but way too young for me & not really my style. My niece will absolutely love it  and all of its blingin' glory though!

Multi Layer "Love" Bracelet- $8.50

I love multi layer bracelets! I like having the multi bracelet look and only having to deal with one clasp. I'm diggin the (hot) white too because it is perfect for the summer! Nothing looks better on a tan than white jewelry. This will get a lot of wear.

Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner- $5.99

FINALLY a liquid eyeliner! I don't typically receive liquid eyeliner from most subscriptions, and they always give me pencil or a colorful liquid which isn't practical for daily wear. Pencil does not hold on my eyelids so I can only wear liquid. With that being said I was so happy to see a normal, jet black, long lasting liquid eyeliner. It goes on smooth, has a great brush and solid staying power. Keeping!

Skeleton Key Charms- BONUS item! $4.00

This was a bonus item and it fits the theme perfectly. I'll probably end up putting all three on a necklace together. I like how each charm is different and my favorite key is the one with the crown on top. It would have been nice if they included a simple chain to place the charms on but hey- can't complain when it' s a bonus item I suppose.

Threads-product4

Rachel Kate Tank- $17.99

I was happy to see another tank this month with it being so hot outside this time of year. This is a tank that I wouldn't personally buy in a store, but liked it once I put it on. I really like the black, white and navy colors and how it fits flowy versus tight. This will be a good top to go fishing in and luckily the horizontal stripes didn't make me look like a large awkward rectangle. I like how the pocket has a different design than the body of the shirt, it adds a little pizzazz.

I really like the polka dots on the back too!

Verdict: July's box is a fairly good month from Threads Monthly! I plan on keeping everything except the emoji necklace. The most exciting thing for me was the eyeliner and the bracelet and tank tie for second place. The value of this month's box is $48.48 which is pretty good for a $20.00 purchase price.  Hopefully the accessories next month will be more my taste. Excited to see what theme they pick out next month.

Are the clothing items true to size? What size did you get?

I think it’s fantastic. It all goes together and it would be a personal style hit for me. I was wondering if all the boxes were the same as well.

I wanted to mention the great photography too. Your layout of the box drew me in right away and the box was very appealing from the beginning.

Also, The tank looks like a flattering fit and that it would layer well for cooler months.

I have oily eyelids and can only wear pencil liners over primer, but I always wear primer so that is OK. I like the Urban Decay one, and the Coastal Scents one is good too if you don’t want to spend as much. I wear funky eyeliner colors every day to work, though (today is electric blue!). (I am 38 and work at a law firm…)

I have gotten like 5 tanks this month but am using them all as workout gear. I tend not to wear things in public that show off my arms. I don’t think I’m quite in the target demograhpic for this subscription, though.

Is there a style quiz or are all the boxes to each customer the same?
