This month's theme was Legends! There was no doubt we'd see the subscription box favorite game in this box - Zelda.

Each month comes with a mini magazine with a lot of detail on each item in the box, along with interviews and short stories.

Zelda Shirt - Value $15?

This month's shirt features Link from Zelda. They now match the shirt design with the box and magazine cover design. I've liked the artwork they've been doing, so I have no problem with it, they've been doing a great job.

Zelda Mug - Value $18 on Amazon

The second and last Zelda item is this shield mug. I've never been a big Zelda fan, but this mug is great! I love that they designed the mug around the shield, and it's pretty large as well. Of course, the cooler mugs like this aren't dishwasher or microwave safe.

Mario Kart Racer - Value $15 on Amazon

The next item is from the all-time video game legend - it's a-me, Mario! This is a pull-back racecar and is made to look like Mario's ride from the Mario Kart Wii game.

I took it out for a spin. Pardon the shaky camera - naturally, I'd try to save the $15 toy by bumping into the expensive camera!

Arrow Vengence Book - Value $7 on Amazon

The last two items were from DC Comics. First is this Arrow book. It's based off of the second season of the CW show - which includes one of my favorite DC characters, Deathstroke! I recommend that season of the show or the book!

Flash DC Figure - Value $24 on Amazon

This little lead figure is similar to the Doomsday figure in the May My Geek Box. I think they are a bit more rare, hence the higher price. The paint job is much better on this little Flash figure than it was on the Doomsday figure, which was my main complaint - so I'm happy! You could have received The Flash or Robin.

Verdict: ZBox has been delivering good boxes for me over the past 3 deliveries. This is probably the least favorite of the past 3 boxes, but I assumed that going into it, knowing that I wasn't really a Zelda fan. Even though I'm not a fan, I do like the design of the shirt and the mug - add the little Mario Kart and the figurine, my favorite item, and it was a good month for me.

I was surprised to receive this box today, because I cancelled my subscription a month ago. For anyone interested in subscribing to this box, use a prepaid credit card because they don’t make canceling easy at all. I also had to pay duty on this box, adding another $13CAD to the cost. I agree, this is the weakest box by far.

I have gotten the last couple of boxes as well and I do enjoy them but this one was one of my least favorites. I wasn’t particularly wowed.
My little Mario Cart guy was Yoshi though so that was cool.
