Angels' Cup is a coffee subscription box focused on single origin coffees from top roasters.
Freshness is a top priority for Angels' Cup, and they ensure a 24 hour turnaround time between receiving freshly roasted beans, packing them, and shipping them out to subscribers.
Subscribers can choose to have their beans sent whole, coarsely ground (for French press coffee), or finely ground (for drip coffee).
Angels' Cup offers a few different subscription plans, and this is a review of the All Stars Plan, which includes one 12 oz. bag of coffee every month.
I’ve previously reviewed the other Angels’ Cup subscription plans: The Black Box and Cupping Flight. Both of these plans include blind shipments of coffee samples that are labeled with only a roast date and a unique code, to encourage subscribers to blind taste the coffee and to try and pick out notes and flavors. You can use the Angels’ Cup app or the included tasting cards to help guide your tasting, and both allow you to compare your tasting notes with the experts. You can find reviews of both the Black Box and the Cupping Flight here.
Angels' Cup ships every week, but subscribers can adjust their preferences online to receive boxes less frequently.
This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

I also received a Wild Gift sticker. Wild Gift Coffee is an independently owned and operated roasting company based in Austin, TX.
Wild Gift Coffee Finca Buena Vista (12 oz.)- $16?
(Note: The Finca Buena Vista is only available in a tin on the Wild Gift site. The listed price is $23, but I’m assuming the bag price is lower.)
This coffee is grown by producer Fabio Zambrano in the Huila region of Columbia, one of the country’s most sought after growing regions. The beans are grown at 1550 meters and washed.
Angels’ Cup calls out the “exceptional complexity” with notes “all over the map.”
They find “lime/kiwi” to be one of the most dominant flavors with “diverse florals like lavender and rose” and some “sweetness in the aftertaste.”
I brewed this coffee in my French press, and I really enjoyed it. I picked out the flavor of vanilla, and my husband thought this coffee tasted a little like marzipan.
Verdict: I greatly enjoyed the coffee in this shipment from Angels' Cup! This is my first time sampling the All Star box, and I’m very pleased with the coffee selection. Wild Gift wasn’t on my radar before this box, but I’m tempted to order some of their other coffees to try! In terms of value, the All Star box costs $19.99 and I received about $16 worth of coffee. Considering that I’d need to pay shipping if I ordered this coffee myself, I’m happy with the value.
