To accompany my coffee, I received a postcard.
It features an image of Rio de Janeiro.
Atlas Coffee Braazil Cerrado Mineiro (12 oz.)- $14.95
I’ve never tried Atlas Coffee before, so I was excited to give it a try! My first box features a Brazilian coffee grown in Alto Paranaibi, which is the highest altitude area in the Cerrado Miner growing region. The beans were grown at an altitude of 1,250 meters and are fully washed.
I love the graphic packaging that Atlas uses! It’s so pretty that I’m tempted to keep this bag out on my countertop instead of in a cabinet.
The beans look just a tad darker than the ones I usually buy, but they smell great. They have a heady, chocolate aroma with a hint of nuttiness. The smell reminds me of a mocha.
I brewed the beans using my drip coffee maker, and I think the flavor is great, too. In the cup, this coffee is rich and full, and it has a sweet finish.
Verdict: This is my first shipment from Atlas Coffee Club, and I really enjoyed my first coffee! The beans arrived fresh and the flavor was great. I also love Atlas’ packaging. I think their bag design is one of the best I’ve seen! The postcard is a nice touch, too. In terms of value, this subscription costs $17.95, and the bag I received retails for $14.95. Considering that this bag was picked out for me based on my preferences and that I’d need to pay shipping if I ordered this coffee myself, I’m happy with the value.
