When I signed my family up for this subscription, Awesome Pack sent me a pretty extensive quiz about what games my family likes (and what we already have to avoid duplicates). It also asked about the ages of the children and other general interest questions. It's pretty highly customized! I like that!
One of the questions on the quiz I took asked for my family members' birthdays. They sent my husband this birthday card because his birthday was in July. How nice!
As always, they included a fun family activity booklet. In addition, they always send a little piece of Awesome Pack merch, such as a pen or magnet. This month it's a sticker.
Spot it! Party - Value $9.99
Awesome Pack always sends us one big family board game, and this month it's Spot it! This is a really fun and fast paced game! There are always cards in rotation and the cards have lots of images on them, but every two cards share only one image in common. The objective is to be the first to spot the matching image. It doesn't take long, so you have to be quick! We had a fun time playing this game.
Zombiezz - Value $9.99 each
These little action figures are gross zombies, which little boys love. They also each are said to have one "gruesome" feature, but I think they mean one "practical" feature? For example...
This little guy has a marker under his helmet.
This little guy's brain comes out and works as an eraser. Neat!
Minions Snowball Fight by Mega Bloks - Value $6.87
Minions Silly TV by Mega Bloks - Value $5.30
My sons absolutely love the Minions, and I think they're great, too! They were really happy to get these little figurines!
WuzzIts Game - Value $10.48
This was another fun and fast-paced game! In this game, you get an assortment of top and bottom half cards. The objective is to make complete monsters by matching up cards. This was a wee bit young for my sons (ages 8 and 10), but we still had a fun time trying it out.
Verdict: Awesome Pack is awesome! We have so much fun playing these games every month, and all the extras and toys and things they send have about a 95% success rate with my boys. This month everything was fantastic, although I'm not sure we will get a lot of use out of the WuzzIts Game. This month's value is about $52, which is great for a $45 box. Additionally, their customer service is great, and their packages are very consistent. We love Awesome Pack!
