Dylan's Candy Bar Box “provides monthly gift box packages filled with specially curated Dylan's Candy Bar candy assortments, chocolates and lifestyle products.”
Subscribers can choose between the Chocolates Box, “which includes classic products like Bars, BarK and Good-to-Go bags as well surprise chocolate-y mini-bin fillables,” and the Signatures Box, which contains “whirly pops, chocolate bars, s’mores, mini-bin fillables and more… from gummies to chocolate and all sorts of sweetness in between.”
I love gummy candy, so I opted for the Signatures Box!
Unlike most subscription boxes, Dylan's Candy Bar Box subscriptions do not auto renew. So, if you pay for a 3-month subscription you will receive only three boxes. If you’d like to receive additional boxes, you will need to place another order.

My box contained a card listing the items included in the box.
Dylan’s Candy Bar Donut Crisps (4 oz.) - $8?
This box was very well packaged and was shipped with an ice pack to keep the candy from melting in transit. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to keep last month’s box safe (some of the chocolate items got a little melted on their way to me), but this month’s box arrived in pretty good condition. The first item I received is this super cute package of Donut Crisps.
I couldn’t find the crisps available on the Dylan’s Candy Bar website, so I’ve estimated the price. The info card lists this as a new item, and I like that subscribers get the chance to try it before it’s listed for sale on the site.
The crisps looked a little like chocolate covered animal crackers, and the cookies themselves had the texture and flavor of cannoli shells. I’ve never had cookies like these before, and I’m a fan.
Chocolate Covered Swedish Fish (Mini-bin Refill) - $5?
I received a refillable candy holder in my first box from Dylan’s Candy Bar, and this month I was sent two different types of candy to use as refills for that container. I couldn’t find either of the refill candies I received available on the Dylan’s Candy Bar website, so I’ve estimated their prices. (I’ve tried to be generous in my pricing estimations, since I know Dylan’s Candy Bar charges a premium for their candy.)
I love chocolate and I love Swedish fish, but I’m not sure I’m a fan of chocolate covered Swedish fish. Something about gummies + chocolate just seems wrong to me. I know that’s purely a matter of preference, though, and I have to give Dylan’s Candy Bar points for including a somewhat unusual candy.
Also, I mentioned this last month, but I’m disappointed to see refill bags in both last month’s box and this month’s box. One of the reasons Dylan’s Candy Bar can get away with their super high prices is because their excellent packaging makes the candy seem special. Getting an unbranded bag of refill candy doesn’t have the same magic.
Sour Gummy Octopus (Mini-bin Refill) -$5?
I was really surprised to see these gummy octopuses in the box because I picked the exact same candy for my custom Candy Club box last month! They’re chewy, sour, and really delicious. I’m happy to receive more!
Verdict: This box from Dylan's Candy Bar Box feels very light. The per-box cost breakdown for this box (for a 3-month subscription) is $36. Even with generous value estimates, the items I received in this box are worth maybe half that. Also, I think I’m lucky that my items arrived in good shape in the middle of summer. I had some problems with melted candy last month, and Bekki, who’s been reviewing the Dylan’s Candy Bar Chocolates Box, has received some seriously melted candy. (Even the replacement candy she was sent by customer service arrived melted!) This is the last box in my 3-month subscription, and looking back at what I received there’s no way I can recommend the subscription. With so many fun, creative, and well-branded products available on the Dylan’s Candy Bar website, it’s really disappointing to see such an uninspired and low value selection of items included in the subscription box.
